Worldwide Gameplay Reveal for Motorbike Combat Racer Steel Rats Released at PAX East 2018

Today Tate Multimedia have revealed gameplay of their upcoming motorbike combat game Steel Rats for the first time ever. This reveal trailer shows off the explosive, diesel-soaked world of Steel Rats and the stunt based, motorbike combat that fuels it. Announced last Novemeber, Steel Rats is launching later this year on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC and is playable for the first time ever at PAX East this weekend in Boston.

Having just won Game Connection Development Award for ‘Best Gameplay’ during GDC week, Steel Rats is now ready to be revealed to the world in greater detail, showcasing the advanced bike physics, explosive motorbike combat and revolutionary 2.5D exploration that define the game. Wreck and ride as part of the larger than life punk biker gang, the ‘Steel Rats’, choosing unique characters to play as and unlocking new special abilities.

Steel Rats is a visceral and ground-breaking evolution of the 2.5D action arcade genre, fusing destructive, octane-fuelled motorbike combat and death-defying stunt gameplay, set in a visually stylised retro future world.

Steel Rats can be found at PAX East in Boston, USA from April 5th-8th in the main Expo Hall Booth # 21010.

Nur durch zufall hatte ich vor Wochen von dem Spiel Wreckfest erfahren.
Im Sommer kam es schon für PC raus und am 20.November sollten die fassungen für Ps4 und Xbox erscheinen.
Das Game hat mich richtig heiss gemacht.
So ein geiles Schadensmodell bei den Fahrzeugen gab es seit Burnout Paradise nicht mehr.
Leider wurde das Ding nun auf 2019 verschoben nachdem THQ Nordic den Entwickler Bugbear übernommen hatte.
Laut THQ brauchen die Konsolen versionen noch mehr polishing.
Ich hoffe das stimmt und wir bekommen mal wieder einen richtig geilen Demolition Racer auf Konsole!

Es gibt anscheinend sowohl den Titel "Wreckfest". Aber auch "Stuntfest". Was da jetzt konkret die Unterschiede sind kann ich nicht sagen, aber ich schätze mal jeweils Nomen est Omen. Also Zerstörung bzw Stunts.
Hab aber selbst nur eben kurz den Titel gegooglet.
 
Gab doch mal eine Meldung das Sony seine bestehenden Top Studios vergrößert um mehrere Produktionen zu stemmen. Damit sind auch keine Studiokäufe notwendig wie es MS derzeit macht. GG kann bald theoretisch alle ein bis 2 Jahre einen neuen AAA Titel liefern. Da wird noch eine Menge in der Pipeline sein.

Cult kart racer CTR: Crash Team Racing looks like it's making a comeback.

Following the enormous success of the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy remaster, it looks like publisher Activision will revisit kart racing spin-off CTR next.

Earlier this week, dubious-sounding rumours began floating around Facebook of an announcement at this year's Game Awards, due to be held this week - at 1.30am UK time on Friday, 7th December.

But then today, PlayStation Access presenter Hollie Bennett teased the following photo on Twitter - of a pair of Crash-coloured furry dice, the kind you might hang on a car's rear-view mirror. "Sliding into the Game Awards on 6/12," an accompanying message reads.
