Digimon World: Next Order Shares More On Its Game System And Two Heroines

Bandai Namco recently updated the official website for Digimon World: Next Order with a look at some of its gameplay system and details on some of the latest characters introduced to the game.

Digimon World: Next Order will have the most freedom of exploration than we’ve seen thus far from the series. You’ll get to travel and check out its massive world with your Digimon partners.

The “0rder” battle will involve a synchronization between your partners’ feelings. The bond between the protagonist and the Digimon will be the key to what Bandai Namco called an “evolved AI battle.”

All of the Digimon’s growth will be shown in real-time. Everything from training, interaction, and discipline will have an effect in how your partner will evolve. More details on the exploration, battles, and raising will be revealed in the near future.

Here’s a look at two of the latest characters introduced for the game

Himari Obuchi:

xX7pjxF.png

Like the protagonist, Himaru is a third-year high school student. She’s a confident and strong-minded character, and due to her ways of taking action the moment something comes to mind, she can occasionally be seen as a selfish person; however, she’s the type of person who’ll do anything she can to help others, even if it means having to hide her own feelings for it.

She finds herself in the Digital World alongside the protagonist and Kouta. She occasionally seems to show that something has been bothering her… Her partner Digimon is named Rikka, a Salamon.

Luche:

ltIaD3O.png

Luche has lost most of her memories due to a certain incident. She might not be able to remember much of her past, but she’s always full of energy, and carries around her Numemon plushie.

Digimon World: Next Order is expected to release in Japan in 2016 for PlayStation Vita.

On the brink of death, Zeabolos heard a mysterious voice from deep within. “It is too early yet for the lineage of the Great Overlord to fall…” Zeabolos was revived, his shambled body patched together again by a young necromancer named Faust.

Zeabolos gained the power of the Soul Grimoire, and decided henceforth to fight.

Horror Game Forgotten Memories To Get Director’s Cut On PlayStation Consoles

Third-person survival horror game Forgotten Memories is getting a Director’s Cut for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita in early 2016.

“It’s the same Forgotten Memories but with improved graphics, AI, combat, controls, mechanics, UI, with new areas, interactions, boss battles and CGs,” Georges Paz of developer Psychoz Interactive says. “We’ve also fixed remaining English localization issues and the game is now localized in all major languages including French, Spanish, German, Chinese and Japanese.”

Shortly after the Director’s Cut is out on PlayStation platforms it will head to iOS. However, due to the graphical improvements, it will only be available for “next gen mobile devices.” Paz also says that it won’t replace the original game on the App Store – the Director’s Cut will be sold as a separate game. There’s been no mention of the previously planned PC or Wii U versions of the game.

Forgotten Memories has you playing as Rose Hawkins as she searches for a missing girl inside an abandoned asylum. It features voice acting by Guy Cihi, who was the voice of James Sunderland in Silent Hill 2, as well as David Schaufele who voiced Eddie Dombrowski in Silent Hill 2.

Find out more about the game on its website. You can also read Siliconera’s interview with the producer of Forgotten Memories.
