Nanairo Reincarnation Heads To PlayStation Vita In Japan This September

The latest visual novel title to be ported to the PlayStation Vita was announced as Nanairo Reincarnation, by Silky’s Plus, and it will release this September in Japan. [Thanks, Game Jouhou]

In Nanairo Reincarnation, you play as Makoto, a third-year student at the university. After his grandfather passed away, he inherited all of his property. That wasn’t all he inherited, though, as he also gained the ability to see spirits.

Once he moves into his new home, he’s greeted by a zashiki-warashi named Iyo and an oni named Kikyou. These two are only visible to Makoto, as he’s the only one who can see them using his new ability.

Getting help from Iyo and Kikyou, Makoto will carry on the duty of his family that has been passed down from generation to generation, which basically requires him to use his powers to find and relieve the wandering souls, so they can finally rest in peace.

The PlayStation Vita version of Nanairo Reincarnation will feature additional CG work and new episodes by the original writer, Kazuki Fumi, and will release in Japan on September 17, 2015 for 6,800 yen plus tax.

Lost Dimension European release date set

Lost Dimension will launch for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita as physical and digital releases in Europe on August 28, NIS America announced.

The game was previously dated for release in North America on July 28.

Get the full rundown below.

About

To subdue the threat The End poses to the entire planet, several countries create a special forces group called S.E.A.L.E.D., which is comprised of eleven psychics with superhuman abilities. Each soldier has their own talents and skillsets to use in combat, which can be expanded after gaining enough experience in the field. Bonds of friendship will form amongst the members of S.E.A.L.E.D., but be mindful of which allies to keep close, as The End mandates the player must begin eliminating teammates. Make sure to accuse the right teammate of being a traitor though – once the final battle with The End begins any remaining traitors will fight the main character alongside him.

Key Features

A Cataclysmic Whodunnit! – Not only will players have to keep their eyes focused on strategically defeating the enemies laying in wait on the field of combat, but they need to carefully watch party members’ tendencies in order to expose the traitor. At the end of every floor, players will be forced to vote and eliminate one of their trusted allies, and the
consequences for choosing incorrectly could be dire…
Spoiler-Free Zone – In addition to a variety of game mechanics to help assess teammate loyalty, Lost Dimension’s traitor system is randomly determined, assuring that no two players will be faced with the same playthrough. Sorry, kiddies, but it’s impossible to look up the answers this time around.
Psychic Warlords – Each character in the party is a master of a different sphere of powers. There’s the girl who controls molecular behavior to burn or freeze anything/anyone in her path. There’s the guy who can teleport all around (also with the bonus superpower of being satisfyingly cocky). And there’s even someone with an identity crisis because all he knows how
to do is steal everyone else’s powers!
Keep Your Friends Close… – In between battles, players will have the option to chat with teammates and develop closer bonds with them. Juggling these friendships and keeping track of who participates in battle will be the key to sussing out the traitors and assuring that, by the time you reach The End, it won’t be… the end… for you and your allies!

Dungeon Travelers 2 trailer introduces basic classes

Atlus has released a new trailer for Dungeon Travelers 2: The Royal Library & the Monster Seal introducing the PS Vita dungeon RPG’s basic classes.

While the game has “many, many classes,” every character starts off as one of five basic classes. Each girl in your party is fixed to their basic classes, but when you get to choosing their intermediate or advanced class, you can still ad skill points into the basic class skills.

The basic classes are as follows:

Fighter: Standard melee damage dealer, has skills for basic defense as well as attacks. With high HP and strength, they can be the vanguard of the party.
Magic User: The basic class can use all elemental damage-dealing spells. They can use the basic healing spell as well, making them an invaluable asset to the party.
Scout: A master of speed that can attack when the enemy lets their guard down, and can also steal money. Because they can use both daggers and bows, they can change their fighting style to fit your needs.
Maid: Though not good with physical attacks or magic, they can provide special support without using TP or needing casting time. The unsung hero type.
Spieler: This class is literally a wild card. The most powerful of the Spieler abilities are high-risk, high-reward gamles, so choose them for your party carefully! They can make a HUGE difference in battle.

Dungeon Travelers 2 is due out in North America this summer and in Europe this fall.

Lost Dimension trailer introduces Mana and George

Continuing its series of character trailers, Atlus has released a new Lost Dimension video introducing S.E.A.L.E.D. team members Mana and George.

Here’s their outlines, via Atlus:

Lover of all things cute, Mana Kawai isn’t afraid to run in and pummel away at her foes with her bare hands. When her targets get wise to their impending beating and stay out of melee range, she can just hurl debris or create earthquakes to hit them instead.
Just as brave is George Jackman, who fights for the glory of freedom and justice! George cuts his enemies down with a deadly katana and can also amplify his damage through psychometry.

The pair are described as the “powerhouses” of S.E.A.L.E.D. and can be either relable allies, or deadly foes. Just like the rest of the team, Mana and George could be one of the five traitors that betray you in your mission to stop The End from ending the world.

Net High teaser trailer, details, screenshots

Following its announcement last week, Marvelous has gone live with the official website, teaser trailer, screenshots, and details on its new PS Vita game Net High.

Get the details below.

Prologue

The year is 20XX.

The country was about to see significant change.

“Japanese citizens have an obligation to live fulfilling and healthy lives.” This was the beginning of the “Neo Communications Act,” which was intended to wedge into frequent issues including the congested economy, declining birth rates, NEETs, and hikikomoris.

Exclusive smartphones were distributed free of charge with the government official social network service “Tweeter” installed.

Depending on the amount of followers you attain, the government supplies you with a special allowance.

Marriage, having children, being in a relationship—various measures work in your favor.

To live fulfilling lives, people actively communicate through the social network regardless of day or night.

It is the birth of a new society beyond the boundaries of reality and the net.

It was supposed to be the rise of “mankind’s riajuu (people who live fulfilling lives) era.”

But the reality was different.

Some riajuu have monopolized just about all of the wealth and followers, kick-starting a “super fulfilled divergent society.”

The unpopular, according to the “Riajuu Ranking”, receive unfavorable jobs.

Their anger and grief is condemned in the name of the “Neo Communications Act,” under which it is discarded.

In such dark times, one hero alone stood up—no, one non-riajuu.

Characters

Oreshi (voiced by Kaito Ishikawa) – The strongest non-riajuu in human history. A lethargic and unenthusiastic 21 year-old part-time jobber with no hope for the future. His only ambition in life is to see “that girl” from Tweeter and collecting goods/merchandising from the “Kossetsu Man.” One day, he obtains the super high performance wearable “Mega-Nexus” device (Megane, for short—because they’re glasses), which changes his life. While he’s not usually social, when he equips the Mega-Nexus, the device’s hypnosis function is triggered, and he becomes a super positive and bluff personality.
Cil (voiced by Maaya Uchida) – The strongest ponkatsu (piece of junk) A.I. in human history. She is the navigator A.I. loaded within the protagonist’s Mega-Nexus. But despite her being a navi system, she is brimming with curiosity, neglecting Oreshi as she shows interest in various other things. As she doesn’t have a physical form, her interactions are limited, and she sometimes makes a face as if she’s lonely.
Mr. Elite (voiced by Tomokazu Sugita) – From his life to his personal connections and work, he’s a man living a first-class life. He used to say, “A super first-class human can love super first-class things only,” but…
Bukako (voiced by Megumi Han) – Mr. Elite’s self-proclaimed “business partner.” She seems to mention words like “commit” and “consensus,” but it’s a mystery as to whether she understands their meaning.
Master of Ceremony (voiced by Yukana) – The absolute master of ceremonies. A mysterious woman who suddenly appeared before the citizens and took over all of Tweeter and the city system. Her behavior is uncertain and mysterious. She’ll say different things depending on the situation and vibe. She seeks out persons calling themselves “Absolute Masters of Ceremonies” and pushes them into ENJ Battles.

Keywords

Neo Communications Act – A law based on the aggressive theory that active internet communication will increase levels of human happiness. Currently, it’s the cause of the “super fulfilled divergent society.”
Riajuu Ranking – The nation’s ranking. The higher your amount of followers, the higher you’re ranked.
Tweeter – A government official social network service. You’re ranked between A to G based on your amount of followers.
Niyoniyo Douga – A video submission website with tons of content. ENJ Battles are very popular here.
ENJ Battles – A public debate program broadcast live on Niyoniyo Douga. Lower-ranked persons can challenge higher-ranked persons, and if they win, they can see a large turnaround in followers.

ENJ Battles

Step 1: Collect Information on Riajuu – By using the social network service, attain followers and increase your Riajuu Rank. As your rank rises, the information you receive from tipsters also increases. You’ll need to make sure to check the authenticity of the tipster’s information.
Step 2: Discover the Truth Behind the Riajuu – Confront riajuu via the popular public net program “ENJ Battle=Flame Wars.” Uncover their lies, expose their true selves, and steal their followers.

Net High is due out for PS Vita this fall in Japan.

Moero Crystal announced for PS Vita

The latest entry in Compile Heart’s Genkai Tokki series is Genkai Tokki: Moero Crystal, the latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation reveals.

Due out later this year in Japan for 6,800 yen (or 8,800 yen for the limited edition), the “panty-wearing, bra-seeking” dungeon RPG is produced by Norihisa Kochiwa, directed by Makoto Kitano, and featuring character design by Katsuyuki Hirano.

The story begins when the “Bra of Everlasting Darkness” and “Panties of Hope” are stolen, and a “Dimensional Chasm” appears in the skies. The world starts rising, pulling itself towards the rift. The protagonist is a “lucky lecher” named Zennox. Then there’s Otton, a panty hunter.

Whereas in Genkai Tokki: Moero Chronicle, players were on a journey searching for panties, in Moero Crystal, you’re looking for bras. The game’s “build up, release, and insert” battle system features a new “Insert” command. You can also ‘reprimand’ two Monster Girls via the new “Double Scratch” system. Fifty Monster Girls from the previous game will appear, as well as 30 additional. Monster Girl-specific endings have also been added.
