Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has released a new eight-minute English video featurette of Sword Art Online: Lost Song featuring producer Yosuke Futami.

In it, Futami details the features of the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita Sword Art game, including its new and returning characters, the floating city of Ryne (what we’ve previously referred to as Line), flight mode, three-character parties, and boss battles.

The English version of Sword Art Online: Lost Song will launch in Asia next Tuesday, May 12. A western release has not been announced, though given last year’s Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment localization, it is expected.

Operation Abyss: Video & Launch-Version für USA

Zu Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy gibt es nicht nur ein neues Video, sondern auch eine Information bezüglich der Launch-Version für Nordamerika. In diesem Fall enthalten die ersten Exemplare des Dungeon Crawler zum Spiel den offiziellen Soundtrack und eine Sammelbox. Eine identische Version zur Veröffentlichung wurde für Europa nicht angekündigt.

Das Video erklärt euch die Grundlagen. Kaito Saeki, Vize-Präsident des Xth Squad, steht den Spielern mit hilfreichen Tipps zur Seite. Blut spielt eine sehr wichtige Rolle in diesem Videospiel, denn das angebotene Erbgut stammt von historischen Persönlichkeiten und Helden. Der Einsatz ihres Codes erlaubt den Mitgliedern der Organisation, ihre Fähigkeiten auf die gespendeten Techniken anzupassen. Jede Einheit kann allerdings nur einen Code auf einmal verwenden.

In Europa erscheint das Videospiel am 5. Juni und am 9. Juni in Nordamerika.

Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 erscheint wohl in Europa

07.05.15 - Koei Tecmo wird das Actionspiel Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 (PS Vita, 3DS) offenbar in Europa veröffentlichen. Das geht aus einer Prüfung der Altersfreigabe durch das Australien Classification Board hervor.

Das Spiel ist in Japan als Sengoku Musou Chronicle 3 seit dem 04.12.14 erhältlich - eine offizielle Ankündigung von Koei Tecmo steht noch aus.

D3 Publisher has released a new set of Natsuiro High School: Seishun Hakusho screenshots, detailing the island of Yumegashima’s Dragon Shrine and the special items you can obtain from it.

On the island of Yumegashima, a guardian deity known as the Dragon God has been worshiped since ancient times. By meeting certain conditions, you can enter his shrine, where you can obtain an item known as the Dragon Orb.

The Dragon Orb’s Mysterious Power

Within the Dragon Orb dwells a mysterious hidden power, which you can release with the help of the island’s antiques dealer. There are various colors of Dragon Orb like white, red, and pink. For example, the pink Dragon Orb changes everyone into their bathing suits. What kind of power is this?!

What About the Black Dragon Orb?

The black Dragon Orb holds a hidden power that “somewhat” distills other characters’ ability to sense the protagonist’s presence. Thus, you can perform a number of actions without increasing your suspicious person gauge. Of course, these Dragon Orbs do wear out. Perhaps by giving more offerings to the Dragon God, you can re-obtain another… maybe.

The Heroic Legend of Arslan-Spiel geplant

07.05.15 - Hiromu Arakawa und Yoshiki Tanaka teilen in der neuesten Ausgabe des Bessatsu Shonen Magazine mit, dass sich ein Spiel zum The Heroic Legend of Arslan (Arslan Senki) Manga in Arbeit befindet.

Es soll sich um ein Actionspiel im Stil von "Warriors/Musou" handeln, das für PS4 und PS3 im Herbst 2015 in Japan auf den Markt kommt. Ein Entwickler wird nicht genannt.

Die Spieler soll Szenen aus dem Manga nachspielen können. Die Geschichte beginnt mit der Schlacht von Atropatene. Spielbare Charaktere sind Arslan und Daryun - mehr Helden sollen demnächst bekanntgegeben werden.

GUMI And Freedom Wars Mascot Appear As Guests In Taiko: Drum Master V Version

Taiko: Drum Master V Version is getting wackier with the latest group of confirmed guest characters. GUMI, the Vocaloid, will join Adol from Ys I&II Chronicles and Normin from Tales of Zestiria.

Propa-kun, the mascot character, from the Vita hunting game Freedom Wars, ASF-X Shinden II from the Ace Combat series, and Sachiko Kobayashi – a real life enka singer who sang one of the Danganronpa anime themes.

Why the Ace Combat planes? Because "Comona" from Ace Combat 4 is in Taiko: Drum Master V Version. The PlayStation Vita game also has a Freedom Wars tune, "A Born Coward" from GUMI, "Maji Love 1000%" from the anime Uta no Prince-sama Maji Love 1000%, and "A Cruel Angel’s Thesis" from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Taiko: Drum Master V Version comes out on July 9 in Japan.

An upcoming Japanese game by D3 Publishers has a whopping 65 word long title

The full title, quoted by Geek, reads:

Summertime High School. A Young Man’s Notes – How a New Exchange Student Like Myself Ran Into His Childhood Friend On The School Tour, Then For Some Reason Became Super-Popular With The Girls For His Daily Scoops On The School Photography Club Even Though He Only Takes Panty Shots, And What He Thinks As He Goes On Dates During His Summer Of Island School Life.

The game follows a high-schooler and amateur photographer in his attempts to take up-skirt shots of his fellow classmates. The object of the game seems to be to take as many shots as possible without getting caught.

D3 Publisher has released dozens of games in both Japan and abroad, like Puzzle Quest, The Earth Defense Forces, and Blue Dragon.

The concept is similar to fellow Japanese publisher Xseed Games' Akiba's Trip: Undead and Undressed, which released last year. It involved the player stripping off the clothes of vampires with the intention of exposing them to sunlight.

Tokyo Xanadu adds new character Mitsuki

Dengeki PlayStation this week introduces a new party and two supporting characters set to appear in Tokyo Xanadu.

Characters

Mitsuki Hokuto – 18 years old. She’s the president of the student council at Morimiya High School and daughter of the “Hokuto Group” enterprise. While her father has passed away, her grandfather is serving as the company president while the group seeks a successor. Not only does she serve as the student council’s president, but she’s also relied on as a person with information on the Zodiac Syndicate. Her Soul Device is a staff with the same design on both ends.
Kyoka Yukimura – 27 years old. Mitsuki’s trusted female secretary. She’s apparently a capable fighter.
Seijuro Hokuto – 70 years old. Mitsuki’s grandfather and the current president of the Hokuto Group. He has a strict personality.

World

Zodiac Syndicate – 70 years before the technological revolution, 12 big companies came together to form an alliance. They have their eyes set on the Other World and are enemies of Nemesis.
Doryoku Network – A system of many mysteries introduced 20 years ago that acts as a worldwide infrastructure.

Battle System

Action – Mitsuki can perform long-range attacks with her cane-style Soul Device. Her Power Skill also has a defensive type system. While its speed is low, it allows for long distance defense during combat.
Cross Drive – Pressing down on the d-pad triggers the party’s ability-up skill. Each character has a different ability drive skill.
Attributes – There are five different attributes: “Fire,” “Wind,” “Steel,” “Soul,” and “Shadow.” Because attributes matter when battling enemies, it’s important to switch between characters.

Tokyo Xanadu is due out for PS Vita in Japan on September 30.

Amnesia: Memories first English screenshots

Idea Factory International has released the first set of English screenshots for its upcomin PS Vita and PC otome game Amnesia: Memories.

The visual novel game sees players choose their romantic path from the start, with each “World” corresponding to a different lover. The screenshots showcase a taste of Shin’s Heart World and Toma’s Diamond World.

Unholy Heights coming to PS4 in Japan this month

Unholy Heights (or Maison de Maou, as it’s known in Japan), Mebius and Petit Depotto Development’s tower defense game launched for 3DS in Japan last August, will launch for PlayStation 4 in Japan this month for 800 yen, Mebius announced.

The game will have you collecting rent from monsters living in your apartments while keeping approaching enemy humans at bay. It is a mix of apartment management, monster training, and tower defense.
