Sword Art Online: Lost Song is 20 to 30 hours long, producer wants to do PS4 version

Dengeki Online caught up with Sword Art Online: Lost Song producer Yosuke Futami at this weekend’s Taipai Game Show, who discussed the game’s volume, the potential for a PlayStation 4 version, and other tidbits.

Get all the relevant details below.

When asked about plans for a PlayStation 4 version, Futami said, “I want to do it!” Theme song singer Eir Aoi adds in that she wants a PS4 version, too.
The story will take roughly 20 to 30 hours to complete.
There are no character-specific endings, but each character does have his or her own episodes.
A post-launch update will add a big new feature for online mode.
You can access multiplayer from the beginning of the story. Completing quests will increase the number of areas you can visit, which will in turn increase the number of multiplayer quests you can do.
There’s a large number of multiplayer quests.
There are raw materials you can collect both online and offline for strengthening your weapon, but the probability of obtaining them offline is much lower. It’s also possible to take on more difficult quests with stronger enemies online. If there’s only one strong player in the party, however, clearing these quests will be difficult. Cooperation is important.
Eir Aoi and Luna Haruna’s dual theme songs are themed around new characters Seven and Rain.

Sword Art Online: Lost Song is due out for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in Japan on March 26.

Drama By Day, Dragon Fighting At Night In Cross Ange Video Game

Cross Ange: Rondo of Angels and Dragons tr. is based on the anime series, but the story of the Vita game deviates from the show. You play as Naomi, a rookie Para-mail pilot who is trying to repay her debt.

During the day, you can interact with different characters from Cross Ange as Naomi. Bandai Namco calls this the "drama" portion of the game and it’s similar to a visual novel. Choices you make change the story and increase the bonds Naomi has with other Para-mail pilots. The strength of your bond can unlock special event scenes as well as help you during the battle scenes.

While you’re fighting dragons at night, other heroines will help you in battle. Fights play out like a shooter where you earn money for each dragon you shoot down. Money can be use to customize your transforming Para-mail so you’ll be better equipped to take out boss dragons in future missions.

Cross Ange: Rondo of Angels and Dragons tr. is scheduled to come out in Japan this spring.
