Japanese PC developer Whirlpool has announced that it’s bringing over its visual novel JustyxNasty: Maou Hajimemashita to PS Vita in spring 2015 via GN Software.
In a nutshell, JustyxNasty takes place at Sousei Zouma Academy, which is itself a merging of two distinct schools as a result of dwindling birth rates. These schools, Sousei Academy and Zouma Academy, served to bring up heroes and demon lords, respectively, and were in extremely close proximity to one another, making conflicts between each school’s students a routine occurrence. Nevertheless, just because all of the students are under one roof doesn’t mean the fighting has passed. Far from it, in fact, with even the headmasters of the two schools unable to get along well. It’s within this environment that players are put in the shoes of a young man who’s trying to become a demon lord at the behest of his father and is forcibly transferred into Sousei Zouma Academy to take part in its gifted student program, right when the fighting on both sides is about to reach its breaking point.
The storyline is written by Koroya Kimura, while the character designs are being handled by Mamizu Mikagami, with chibi character designs specifically by Retoma Kuro. Although the original PC version was an erotic visual novel, as is routine in these sorts of ports, it’s to be expected that sexual content will be edited out of the Vita version.
Beyond that, the game will come in two flavors, standard and deluxe. The standard edition is priced at 5800 yen if bought digitally and 6800 yen if purchased at retail. The deluxe version, meanwhile, has no set price as of yet, but is announced to include an original drama CD and a “deluxe school calendar.”
