Rejoice! In case you've managed to banish yourself to your own personal purgatory, you should know that the brand new game Silent Hill: Origins is coming out this Winter! You can find out more information at many websites, including Worthplaying.com and Modojo.com. They liked what they saw!
In regards to the development of the game, it's going full steam and the team is working hard at creating a killer game. Recently, we've started working on the music with the musical genius behind the series, Akira Yamaoka. Akira is creating a brand new soundtrack for this game, and while it's early, things are sounding really great!
Of course, for those fortunate enough to attend the Play! Symphony in Chicago on May 27th, they would have seen a very rakish Akira Yamaoka onstage, live, playing his electric guitar to "Theme of Laura." His performance was energetic and the audience was really excited to hear this variation of the classic Silent Hill song. You can see a couple images from the show on the Silent Hill website. Now for the good stuff: The trailer released at E3 is just the first part of what will be more news to come.
