Blade Arcus from Shining EX Japanese limited edition detailed, box art

Sega has released the first high-res media for Blade Arcus from Shing EX, its newly announced PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 versions of its Shining-themed arcade fighting game.

In addition to some screenshots, also pictured is the game’s box art, featuring game-original character Pairon, and the “Tony Taka’s Premium Fan Box” limited edition (above), which includes:

- A Tony Taka-illustrated special box
- “Shining Heroine Works” 40-page art book
- Shining Ark character 10-song CD
- Shining Blade 60-song soundtrack CD (two discs)
- “Shining Beach Heroines” 2016 13-month swimsuit calendar

Blade Arcus from Shining EX will launch for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in Japan on November 26. First-print copies of the game include the playable character Sonia from Shining Resonance. Visit the game’s official website here.

First look at Blade Arcus from Shining EX

Famitsu has gone up with its first online preview of Blade Arcus from Shining EX, Sega’s newly announced PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 version of the Shining-themed arcade fighting game.

The game’s “dense story” revolves around two protagonists, Ryuga and Pairon, and intertwines with the characters of the Shining series.

Battles are tag-based. Players select a primary character, as well as a second character. You can only switch between the two amid rounds, but you can also call on your partner for help using Link Attacks.

First-print copies of Blade Arcus from Shining EX will include Shining Resonance‘s Sonia as a playable character.

Blade Arcus from Shining EX will launch for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in Japan on November 26.

Wobei das bei so einem Acadeprügler auch egal ist..

Ich hab hoffnung das Sega bald die Shining-Reihe rüberbringt, gab vor kurzem ja erst ein Interview dass sie mehr japanische Spiele in den Westen bringen, wenn die Qualität stimmt...ich weiß nicht wie es euch geht, aber die Shining-Reihe sehe ich qualitativ oben bei den Segatiteln.

um den arcadeprügler würde ich mich nicht reißen! eher um das letzte RPG für die PS3.

Blade Arcus from Shining EX adds Misty

Misty, the pirate princess from Shining Hearts and Shining Blade, will be a playable character in Blade Arcus from Shining EX, Sega announced.

Players will be able to get their hands on Misty for the first time later this week at the Tokyo Game Show, where she will be playable.

Misty is voiced by Yukari Tamura, and she’ll style on her opponents with a variety of attacks using her magic parasol. Blade Arcus from Shining EX will release in Japan on November 26, 2015 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.

If last month’s two minutes of footage wasn’t enough for you, Famitsu has gone up with 17 minutes of Sonia gameplay from Blade Arcus from Shining EX.

Sonia is a new addition exclusive to the console version of Blade Arcus from Shining EX. She is from Shining Resonance, the newest RPG in the Shining series, and is included with first-print copies of the game.
