Etwas neue von Gamespot:

I just got off an AIM conversation with that guy Kyotoman and yesterday night I had a conversation with Seriousgamer and both say (both unaware of the other) that Free Radical is developing a game for Rev. call Umehas Ookieyara. I couldn't get anymore than the name of the game out of them but both say that Free Radical is developing that game for Revolution. Now, again this is NOT confirmed just speculation. So please take it with a pinch of salt, and I will try to copy and paste the whole two conversations so you all can see both conversations. If true though it is great news nonetheless. The rumor mill just keeps on rolling dosen't it.

Wenn man auf Remainig Time guckt, bei Matts Bild, also bei der Musik, dann fällt auch was auf.
es ist auf 3:15... was sich daraus vermuten lässt ist ja wohl klar

Yet again, I come to you with a little tasty tidbit from a bud... Strange thing is, this is one I didn't expect at all... I haven't heard from this guy in... eight months now I think.

This bud of mine used to work for NST way back when they made Ridge Racer 64. He's in the credits, but split ways with NST a while back, deciding instead to join an indie gaming company to have a bigger piece of the descision making process.

Anyway, his email went like this:

"Hey Szemie, how's it going? Been busy with BR or Nightmares?

Anyway, I remember you were very interested that I once worked for NST, and you asked me once to feed you any info I got on their new projects. Well, here goes.

One of my former co-workers still in NST told me of a little project they have been working on aside from Metroid Prime: Hunters. He said they are indeed working on a Revolution project that will be a first for a Nintendo first party development team.

Now, from what I've been able to piece together they are making a FPS for Revolution, an entirely new ip that will be quite violent, and they are thinking it could get an M rating from the ESRB. Now, I have heard the company name id being thrown around, and I remember a while back someone said that id was working on an exclusive ip for Nintendo. I wonder if it's related Smile

What casts suspiscion on this is the two projects he mentions me working on... BR and Nightmares, were codenames from 2001 projects that fell by the wayside...

Then again... he does know people inside CSE besides me, and maybe they are blabbing about the codenames and what became of them... um...

as for where he's working, the guy is a feverant Nintendo fan, so if he's no longer an indie dev, I'm guessing he's back there someplace.

Than again... I'm a feverant Nintendo fan and I don't work for Nintendo.

19.08.05 - Nintendo-revolution.blogspot hat auf der Games Convention mit Yuji Naka (Sonic Team, Sega) über Nintendo Revolution gesprochen. Naka betont, dass er unter NDA steht und deshalb nichts verraten dürfte; er hat Revolution allerdings schon gesehen.

'Ich denke, dass jeder sehr angenehm überrascht sein wird, wenn Nintendo alles enthüllt', kommentiert Naka.
