Red Dead Revolver series confirmed.

Rockstar Games confirmed this morning that imminent cowboy action shooter Red Dead Revolver is the first in a series.

The title is due for release in Europe on April 30th, and possibilities for the second game are already likely to have Clint Eastwood fans salivating. Voiceovers and soundtracks featuring big name gunslingers are already on the cards, but the publisher is obviously waiting to see whether or not the public takes to the genre with gusto.

"If we put famous actors in now, we'd be running before we could walk," a spokesperson told Eurogamer this morning.

Red Dead Revolver was previously under development by Capcom, but was picked up by the Grand Theft Auto publisher when it purchased developer Angel Studios (now Rockstar San Diego).

As yet, the amount of games in the series is undecided, but there should be a better indication at E3 as to whether or not you'll finally be able to live out your good, bad and downright ugly fantasies once and for all.

Das Interview sagt für mich einiges aus:

"We wanted to make sure and remain true to the idealized western traditions, so our initial concerns were implementing a dueling system for outlaws to square off, changing the character art to reflect the time period, and provide an overall package and interface that brings players back to the days in the untamed frontier."

"We revamped the story, improved the gameplay, and added all new cutscenes, voices, and music. There are even some brand new features, like Dead Eye gunplay.
Anyone who played Red Dead Revolver at E3 or the Tokyo Game Show a couple years ago would find today's game to be a lot different -- I would venture to say it is light years ahead of where it was a year ago."

Inzwischen weiß ja jeder das sie nen Westernmaypanye aus dem Spiel gemacht haben. :rolleyes:
 
Red Dead Revolver Kinofilm ?

Uwe Boll hat die Rechte an Red Dead Revolver aufgekauft und will Mitte 2005 mit dem Filmen beginnen, er arbeitet zur Zeit an den Verfilmungen von Alone in the Dark, Blood Rayne, Fear Effect und Far Cry. Sonderlich erstaunen tut mich das nicht wenn man sich die anderen Projekte mal ansieht. Uwe Boll ist auch an anderen Rockstar Projekten interessiert doch erstmal wird der Erfolg seiner nächsten Filme abgewartet.

Der Mann hat übrigens schon House of the Dead verbrochen, ich bin gespannt was dabei rauskommt.

Aber es werden immer soviele Filmlizenzen von Spielen verkauft und nichtmal 10% davon kommen wirklich ins Kino. Na ja, ein Westernszenario sollte aber nicht ganz so schwer umzusetzen sein.
 
Uwe Boll hat aber schon Alone in the Dark und House of the Dead abgedreht, Far Cry wird demnächst in der Karibik gedreht, leider hat er mit House of the Dead einen der schlechtesten Filme aller Zeiten fabriziert.

Da bin ich echt gespannt. Das werden bestimmt so voll die Trash Dinge a la 'From Dusk till Dawn 2+3'. :D

Ich meine von den Filmen direkt!
Nie was gehört oder gesehen.. So schlecht?
 
Ja :)

Ohne Scherz House of the Dead wurde zu einem der 30 schlechtesten Filme aller Zeiten gekürt.

Respekt an mich selber, meinen Aprilscherz haben anscheinend alle geglaubt ;)

Uwe Boll hat nicht die Rechte an Red Dead Revolver gakauft, da er aber so ungefähr jedes andere Franchise verfilmt fällt das niemandem auf :D

Hat das echt keiner gemerkt oder seit ihr nicht so leichtgläubig ?

Mich hat das nicht sonderlich interessiert, deshalb hab ich wohl auch nicht so nach der Wahrheit getrachtet.
 
Darauf habe ich ja gehofft :D

Ich hatte noch ein paar andere Sachen in Planung:

- Doom 3 für X-Box hässlich
- Fable für X-Box schlecht
- Ninja Gaiden zu brutal für Deutschland

Leider entspricht das alles der Wahrheit und so war ich zu drastischeren Sachen gezwungen.
