Whats key here is that the release date of August is practically confirmed, along with exciting news that Konami are working hard to obtain new licenses. Like Brian advises, we will be keeping a very close eye on the next gen fair on the 23 June, even if we expect some sort of news before then.

Regarding WE news at E3, its quite possible seeing as the show is in July with Konami having their own hour long conference there. So keep July 11th 5.45-6.45pm penciled in your dairy just in case.

First with the demonstration which wins 11 the journalist of famitsu of the video game of present yesterday PS3 and Wii. Today you verified these news in me by famitsu. Those are the following edition of release information concerning the game and image. The PS3 game without the audio part presently is 19.2GB BDROM. JON KABIRA completed the sound recording for April criticism. Control mechanism of the next physics which for the player is new and is improved. SONY the game (210,000,000 Yen) helps financing."

The post suggests that Japanese game magazine FAMITSU has information and screen shots of the PS3 and Wii versions of the game. Interestingly the post claims the game is currently 19.2GB without audio (PS3 version we imagine), whereas previous articles had all suggested a total of 18GB. The real crucial point is regarding Sony helping to finance the game with an estimated 210 Million Yen (Approx $2 Million). Knowing the relationship that Konami and Sony share this isn't so shocking, however, what would this mean with regards to exclusivity and comparison to the Xbox 360 version. Although the jury is still out on this point, reports suggest that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will have different engines.

Further details will be unveiled in the coming weeks with the build up to the NEW GENERATION WORLD HOBBY FAIR (23rd June 2007) where the game is set to be officially unveiled to the public. We anxiously await

News reported by nordic games website LEVEL 7 today confirms the presence of 7 licensed Scandinavian clubs in the next iteration of Winning Eleven/PES. The article goes on to name five of those clubs being Djurgården, Rosenborg and FC Copenhagen that were present in PES 6 and Hammarby and AIK that are new additions. It is unknown at this moment of time what the remaining two clubs will be or which specific Scandinavian countries they belong to, however its great news that will be welcomed by Winning Eleven/PES
