1. Will the PS3 still play dvd's?
Yes, In fact it will play movies/games/music stored on Sony's upcoming Blu-Ray disk format, along with current DVD videos, CD music, and in home-burned CD-Rs, DVD-Rs, etc.
2. How will the graphics compare to XBox 2?
We're reaching a point where the next-generation consoles will be on a pretty level playing field graphically. PS3 and XBox 2 should have very similar visual prowess; it's going to be more about who uses the hardware best and has the best art teams.
3. Will I be able to play online with PS3?
Definitely. Just look at the newer, slim PS2- it's ready to go online out of the box, as is the PSP. Built-in wireless networking is also a very likely feature to expect.
4. Should I expect more games to run in High Definition?
All PS3 games are being designed with progressive scan T.V.s in mind. Some will run even higher than 480p. In-game digital surround sound is also part of the spec.
5. Will it play PSone and PS2 games?
It will most definitely play PS2 games, although Sony is still looking into PSone compatibility.
6. Will the pads be different?
Yes, and you can expect them to feature at least two new buttons to take advantage of new features Sony will introduce with PS3.
7. Will the controller ports/memory cards change?
It's very likely that the PS3 will stick with only two controller ports to ensure seamless backwards compatibility with PS2. PS3 will almost certainly ditch Memory Cards in favor of Memory Sticks, as used by the PSP. The system will retain support for good ol' PS2 memory cards, however.
8.Yes, or No: Will there be a HDD?
No. Sony is set on making the Memory Stick format its main storage medium, and will offer capacities large enough to be used for demo downloads, music, movies, and massively-mutiplayer online games.
9. Will I be able to play PSP games on the PS3?
No. You will be able to connect wirelessly to PS3 using your PS2 for many functions, but UMDs are not supported by PS3.

Ich weiß zwar noch nicht was ich von der Quelle da halten soll, aber das meiste hinterlässt bei mir einen faden Nachgeschmack.
Keine HDD, stattdessen diese Speicherstäbchen wie bei der PSP? Neee.
