Überraschung: Nintendo zeigt Super Mario 128?
Nachdem die amerikanische Zeitschrift EGM im Januar von einem neuen Zelda für den GameBoy Advance und den GameCube berichtete, wurde neben diesen auch von einer Vorstellung des lange erwarteten Spiels Super Mario 128 erzählt. Es gilt als sehr wahrscheinlich, dass auch diese Aussage zutrifft.

USA Today and Steven Kent have published the first official information on the Nintendo DS! USA Today has confirmed that the Nintendo DS will feature both a cartridge slot, for Game Boy Advance games, and a new smaller slot for the Nintendo DS software. The USA Today also reports that the system will indeed feature WiFi technology, a touch screen, and a stylus, with better than N64 quality graphics! Check out this quote from the article as well...This my friends is excitement at it's finest. It is said that the Nintendo DS will be priced at around $149, but expect Nintendo to speak officially on the Nintendo DS in the coming hours. Keep in mind that the image from USA Today may not be the actualy design of the Nintendo DS.

CONFIRMED: DS Image Proven Authentic! May 11, 2004

Stephen Kent's USA Today article included an authentic image of the DS and not a mockup, after all...
As reported this morning on GCA, USA Today published an article by Stephen Kent in which a picture of the Nintendo Dual Screen was printed. Thought by many earlier today to be a mere mockup or prototype version of the new Nintendo handheld, Gamecube Advanced is now able to confirm that this image is in fact authentic. A development source familiar to related events confirmed for GCA staffers this morning in Los Angeles that this image is the real deal, and represents the console that will be shown by Nintendo in the next few hours.
