Fand ich tatsächlich auch, aber momentan haben sie einfach die falschen Ideen bzw. ist das alles so absurd das ich gar nicht weiss wer auf solche Ideen kommt:

Ich hab in HOME auch immer viel Potential gesehen, aber es ist wie mit der Wiimote. Die Produzenten scheinen teils überfordert zu erkennen was offensichtlich ist und Spaß macht.

Sie machen ja auch genug in der Richtung Marketing - man kann nicht sagen, dass sie ein spiel einfach nur ins Regal kloppen. Aber das Marketing ist irgendwie falsch angesetzt.

Home not really working right

With the release of Home on PSN. Everything has not been that smooth, at first it was delayed. Only for a few hours. After that there has been a load of reports stateing that home users have been getting connection problems.

Today Sony has addressed the problem stateing

: We are aware that some people may be experiencing difficulty in accessing the PlayStation Home beta at present. This is due to overwhelming demand for the service as people access Home for the very first time since it became Open Beta and appeared on the XMB. While we prepare solutions to ease the problem, you may continue to experience difficulties accessing Home. We kindly ask for your patience as we work to meet the incredible demand for this revolutionary service.

So hope fully they will have this issue worked out quickly

Home ist wirklich der allerletzte Müll.
Zum Glück ist es optional.

Es ist schon ein netter Zusatzservice, mit dem man sich nebenbei mal beschäftigen kann. Allerdings hätte man die investierten Arbeitsstunden sicher auch irgendwie sinnvoller nutzen können.
Ajo, ist kostenlos und einem geschenkten Barsch, schaut man bekanntlich nicht in den A....oder wie ging das Sprichwort noch?

Selektives Lesen ftw. 3 von 4 Redakteuren finden Home...überflüssig. Für einen ist es sogar das schlimmste, wasSony je veröffentlicht hat.

Sony: 'Home will be a system seller'

Will definitely become a reason to purchase [PS3]", says platform holder

Sony's new PS3 virtual world Home will, in time, become a console seller, according to Home's Euro manager.

While Home will initially introduce new revenue streams for Sony through partnerships with publishers, advertisers and the likes of clothing and furniture companies, it's arguable to what degree the application will help sell PS3s.

Dan Hill, Home service manager for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, thinks it will eventually shift consoles.

"... In time I would say that Home will definitely become a reason to purchase [PS3], he told CVG. "Today, we are at the beginning of a long journey - now is the time to start its evolution."

Hill also told us that "no-one else is doing anything of this scale or ambition".

But does Home have the potential to help PlayStaion Network catch up, or even surpass, Xbox Live?

"The PlayStation Network is getting better all the time," according to Hill, "and Home is integral to our online offering. If you buy a PS3 and you grow with us, as Home evolves, you are going to become part of something very special, something unlike you can experience anywhere else."
