Okay. I played with it VERY briefly.
Main part is video. 9 pages of videos that range from interviews to game trails to other shit.
Clicking the "Find Titles for You" is where it gets interesting.
In the "Recommend Games for Me" section you get a list of any game you played on your Wii for over an hour. You pick it, and then choose 6 things, from the perspective of the person who liked it the most:
Slider for how much you liked it
Male/Female
Age
For Anyone/Gamers people
For Casual/Hardcore mood
For Alone/With Friends
Then it sends off that data and removes it from the list. I filled out Ghost Squad, of course. And Excite Truck.
Then they hid the DS Demo Download station in there. Random stuff like Ninja Gaiden and Brain Age 2 demos.
There's a lot to find in this channel. Go nuts!
Wii:
Wii Fit video.
NDS [Demos]:
Brain Age 2 Demo
Flash Focus Demo
Crossword DS-Crosswords Demo
Jam Sessions
Rayman Raving Rabbids 2
Cooking Mama 2: Dinner with Friends
Disney Friends
Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword
The Nintendo Channel is fucking cool, folks. Here was my writeup and video of the Japanese version, so if you're not familiar with it you can read this and get up to speed pretty quickly:

My favorite parts:
-It is a hell of a lot easier to search for and find Virtual Console games through the Nintendo Channel instead of the slow-ass quasi-Internet Browser interface of the Wii Shop Channel. The interface is 10 times faster and once you find a game you want to buy in the Nintendo Channel, you can jump directly to that game's page on the Wii Shop Channel. Convenient!
-The videos. It's pretty much like Xbox Live, with all the trailers and special interviews. The Japanese version had full TV shows that showcased Nintendo products, like soccer stars playing Winning Eleven in an empty stadium and comedians duking it out in a Wii Fit tournament. These were like, halves of hours long. No need to download them, either, which is actually quite nice.
-The recommendation system in general. We take for granted the amount of game information we have access to, like reviews and impressions and video and all of that lot. But the general gaming audience, which is an overwhelming majority, does not. Nintendo is giving people the opportunity to see which games are good and which games aren't as good directly through their Wii. This means that a game like Zack & Wiki could slowly gain recognition based on recommendations by other people. Can you imagine the possibilities?
So yeah, the Nintendo Channel kicks ass.
Oh, this is interesting. Nintendo has added a "Purchase" link to its game data pages, which will take you to an online retailer portal via the Internet Channel. You can now buy games directly from your Wii!
Technology at work, people.
Wow, videos are dubbed, even in spanish :|
