Während der Shin-Megami-Tensei-Social-Link-Ausstrahlung, die am Samstag erfolgte, leistete sich PR Manager John Hardin einen folgenschweren Versprecher. In der Minute 46:45 erzählte Hardin:
“It’s not to say that we’re not looking beyond just AQUAPLUS and [Spike Chunsoft] and everything. I hope we see a lot more Japanese games come over here. Actually, we did announce Legend of Legacy is coming over here. And we have another one in the can too that I can’t talk about just yet … But another really niche Japanese game that actually isn’t even out yet, we’re bringing that over for the 3DS later this year.”
As we previously reported, Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta will be available to use in Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden if you have the save data of Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2 on your 3DS.
This seems to suggest that he wont be playable at all, but rather a special unlockable support character.
Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 erscheint wohl in Europa
Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden is an upcoming 2D fighter by Arc System Works featuring various characters from the series, and they’re also adding the powerful Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta as an assist if you have a save data from another Dragon Ball Z game. The official website shares a look.
The title in question is Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2, a card-based fighting game, which is actually a Nintendo 3DS port of the arcade game, Dragon Ball Heroes.
By having a save file from Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2 on their 3DS, players can unlock the Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta, who appears as an assist character. As for his assist move, he’ll bust out his ultimate “Final Shine Attack” to help your character out.
Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden will release in Japan on June 11, 2015 for Nintendo 3DS. You can read about the game’s controls and battle commands in our earlier report.
The latest set of PoPoLoCrois Farm Story screenshots detail the game’s battle system, as well as a look at some of the quests you’ll take on that involve defeating monsters.
Get the details below.
■ Battle System
Battles in PoPoLoCrois Farm Story are command-based. When your gauge accumulates, you’ll be able to take action, which can be performed within the range of squares indicated on the grid. You can attack monsters, heal allies, etc. Attacking monsters from behind will deal more damage. Additionally, you can switch between manual and automatic at any time during battle.
Special Skills
Each character has his or her own set of “Special Skills” that you can make use of during battle. Whether they’re to attack an enemy, heal an ally, or to provide assistance, you’ll learn new Special Skills as you level up.
■ Quests
During your adventure, you’ll meet a number of people in need of assistance. By helping them out, you can gain a variety of items as a reward. Some of these quests will consist of monster battles. Let’s take a look.
Quest: Big Trent Outbreak
In response to the request of a girl from Rampling Village, players must defeat the lot of Trent that appeared in the forest.
Quest: Shells and I
In response to the request of an old man collecting shells in the forest, players must take down the Lizardman who stole all of his shells.
Quest: Oil Pot
The oil container-like Aburatsubo monsters are spilling oil in the Urban Mountains, and the mountain road has become dangerously slippery. Defeat the Aburatsubo and make the road safe again.
PoPoLoCrois Farm Story is due out for 3DS in Japan on June 18.
Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden is coming soon, and to get ready for it there’s an open demo available for the fans to download!
Readers of Weekly Shonen Jump this week were welcomed with a DBZ scan featuring Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku, and details on several different attacks that he’ll be able to use.
At the bottom you can see the QR code for the demo (for Japanese 3DS consoles only) and it shows the four characters that’ll be playable in the demo. Check it out:

A Monster Strike game is in development for 3DS, developer Mixi announced. An anime is also in the works.
Monster Strike is a popular smartphone physics game with elements of RPGs and strategy games. It is currently available on iOS and Android.
In addition to the 3DS game and anime, a new Monster Strike smartphone game is due out later this year.
Xseed have published a new localization blog post for Lord of Magna, detailing the game’s element system, which will come into play during battles. In addition to detailing the elements themselves, they’ve also posted a summary of four of the characters’ combat styles.
You can find a brief portion of each character’s details, and click over to Xseed’s blog for more in-depth information, including insight into how their voice-actors were chosen.
Luchs – Void
Voiced by: Robbie Daymond
Luchs isn’t the most physical combatant, which makes sense in context since he’s a simple innkeeper with no combat experience whatsoever. He does have the Lachryma bracelet, however, and that gives him excellent support skills to heal and enhance the girls’ stats in battle. He’s also not without his fair share of surprises, so try as many of his skills as possible and see what works best for you. He has no particular strengths or weaknesses thanks to being closely associated with the Void element.
Charlotte – Flame
Voiced By: Claudia Lenz
It’s no surprise that someone with such a fiery affinity would be among the strongest physical fighters in the party. Lottie’s longsword, Flawless, is close-range but has a wide reach, so she’s the perfect choice for clearing the field of fiends and racking up combos. Outside of when the story demanded it, Lottie never left my party during my initial Japanese playthrough.
Beatrix – Frost
Voiced by: Alexis Tipton
Trixie is cool-minded and poised, making the Frost affinity the most sensible choice for her. She possesses the longest range among the girls with her Bowgun, Selbstgemachte Armbrust (a.k.a. “Handmade/Custom-made Bowgun”), so she’s ideal if you’re into sneaky combat tactics from afar involving barrels that make awesome explosions (everyone loves exploding barrels, right?).
Elfriede – Earth
Voiced by: Kate Davis
One would think of a grounded person if they were related to the Earth element, but Frieda is a bit loopier than your average girl. She’s incredibly smart and a hard worker, but she’s vocal and has every bit the attention span you’d expect from the crazy inventor archetype. She uses a long-range machine gun which she herself invented, called OP4 Vulcan.
Lord of Magna will be released this June in North America and Europe.
This year's 25th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is revealing on Monday that Yūto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki's Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma manga is inspiring a video game for the Nintendo 3DS. The game's title is Shokugeki no Sōma: Yūjō to Kizuna no Hitosara (Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma: The Dish of Friendship and Bonds).
Furyu is developing the "taste personal experience cooking battle adventure" game. The company plans to release the game this winter. The game will feature Sōma Yukihira and other familiar students at Tōtsuki Culinary Academy as they participate in cooking battles.
The original manga's story follows Sōma, who works with his dad at his family's restaurant. His dad is a culinary master, and he often hosts cooking battles with his father. His father then enrolls him in an elite culinary school that is very difficult to enter, and the graduation rate is only about 10 percent.
Saeki and Tsukuda launched the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in November 2012, and Shueisha will publish the 13th compiled volume on June 4. Yuki Mirosaki, a cosplay chef and model, also contributes to the manga, and each volume of the manga features recipes.
North American publisher Viz Media is releasing the manga in North America. The company initially decided not to add the manga to its digital Weekly Shonen Jump anthology because the series is "a little racy," but then it began publishing the series in the anthology last November.
J.C. Staff's television anime adaptation of the manga premiered in April. Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs and Sentai Filmworks has licensed the series for home video.
News for Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden has been pretty scare lately with one month away from release (probably to save them for V-Jump). Nonetheless, Weekly Shonen Jump’s scan briefly explains about creating your own dream teams as well as some small details on Adventure Mode.
In Adventure Mode, players will go through the story while unlocking characters and Z-Assists along the way.

As shown in the above screenshots, all the characters have their own unique little scenes for their special moves, and you can expect to see them look cuter than ever in New Atelier Rorona.
There are some events that only happen once a year, like the Cabbage Festival, where you’ll get to go around looking for cabbage for a chance to win the grand prize.

Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 is coming west. Koei Tecmo have confirmed it for a digital release across PS Vita and 3DS in Europe on June 24, with a North American release date to be confirmed early next week.
The game, which launched in Japan last December, features over 50 military commanders and lets players experience both historical and “What If?” scenarios. If you missed it, we detailed a bit of the game back in August 2014.
