Das Spiel lebt noch, Xbox 360 und PS3 Versionen erscheinen nicht mehr.

Mad Max has left an immeasurable footprint on video games – and pop culture in general. He hasn’t officially appeared in a game since an NES title released 25 years ago, but game developers have drawn inspiration from his dystopian, post-apocalyptic universe for decades. Avalanche Studios, developer of the Just Cause series, is tackling his gaming comeback. We visited their office in Stockholm, Sweden, to learn how the team’s expertise in creating open-world mayhem is a natural fit for creating the most fully realized Wasteland yet.

Much has changed since the game was announced at E3 a few years ago. Most notably, the studio has decided to leave the planned Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions by the wayside. That move has allowed the team to deliver stunning vistas and effects that will challenge your expectations of what the Wasteland might look like. In short, it’s definitely not a bland, endless stretch of sand. We got an extended demo and several hours of hands-on time; our 12-page cover story has in-depth impressions of what we saw and played, plus a look at the car combat, story, and characters that play pivotal roles in the game.

Da Setting finde ich absolut genial und die Inhalte im Video klingen auch wirklich toll, eigentlich genau mein Fall! Ob die Umsetzung qualitativ dann aber auch passt bleibt noch abzuwarten. Gameplay gab es soweit ich weiß bisher ja leider noch nicht zu sehen. Potential hat der Titel aber allemal.
 
Spiel wird genial werden. Wann kommts eigentlich? just Cause 3 kommt Ende des Jahres und mad Max vorher oder? Werde mir beide Avalanche Games holen. :goodwork:

Spiel könnte was werden. Das Preview schwankt aber zwischen netter Grafik und hoffentlich wird das SPiel nicht zu langweilig.

When our day at Avalanche is at an end we're left feeling a little ambivalent. On the one hand Mad Max offers a vast and beautiful world; one that captures the essence of the source material and that's filled with exciting characters and places to visit, that has an interesting storyline and a vehicle that will get your pulse racing. On the other hand the game world feels empty and desolate, and what's there tends to lean on tedious repetition in the shape of quests and side-activities that we have seen far too many times in other similarly-styled games.

How all of these various components fit together is something we're going to have to wait and find out; we'll be able to judge when the game launches on PC, PS4 and Xbox One in September. Until then we're just going to have to hope that Avalanche has enough time to make their post-apocalyptic world one that we'd like to spend our time in.

Spiel wird geil. Wird wahrscheinlich nicht für alle was da zu linear.

Spiel sieht nach sehr viel Spass aus. Fette Explosionen, Ballern und Cruisen.
Was will man mehr?
 
Wenn das nicht mal nen Hit wird?!? Sieht schon sehr geil aus!
Hätte aber für meinen Geschmack schon im August erscheinen können. Mit MetalGearSolid 5 zu erscheinen ist schon ne Hausnummer ehrlich gesagt. Hoffe das Game wird echt 1-2Wochen vorgelegt und nicht noch verschoben auf Ende September! Wer weiß was noch alles im September und Oktober auf uns alles wartet!

Bin schon gespannt auf die nächsten Trailer und auf der E3 bestimmt ne Stagedemo
 
Sieht schon nett aus :-). Erinnert mich an TR in der Wüste. Aber man muss abwarten wie abwechslungsreich das Gameplay wird und ob sich an der Grafik was tut, die kann mich noch nicht komplett überzeugen.

Was mich nur etwas stört. Gibt es keine echte Straßen? Der fährt immer nur Querfeldein.
Mad Max war immer mehr ein Highwayfilm mit ausranschierten Autos auf der Straße und verlassenen Häuser am Rand. Hier ist wirklich alles nur Wüste und Einöde. Zumindest scheint es so.

naja, das trifft wohl auf teil 1 zu, aber mad max 2+3 hatten sich davon schon reichlich entfernt
