Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 Has New Voiceovers, Revised World Map

Felistella is giving Hyperdimension Neptunia a remake for PlayStation Vita. Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 will have enhanced graphics based on the models from Neptunia V plus new voice recordings.

Dengeki PlayStation also reports the world map got a makeover as well. You won’t have to wait for landmasses to move back in place so you can terraport from one area to the next. Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 is slated for release on October 31.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 Has A Remade World Map

Felistella, developer of Summon Night 5 and Record of Agarest Mariage, is working on a PlayStation Vita remake of Hyperdimension Neptunia. The game has a new world map that’s brighter than the PlayStation 3 version.

The Vita menu has options for shop, guild, disc make, coliseum, gather information (search in the US release), and museum. Players can also enter dungeons on the world map and take on guild quests to change the shares between the four worlds. A meter in the top right hand corner shows you which land has the most shares and in this game it’s Planeptune.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 comes out on October 31 in Japan.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 Will Take You On A Miracle Portable Mission

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 has a new theme song called “Miracle Portable Mission” which is performed by Nao. Compile Heart also shared new screenshots of Leanbox from the PlayStation Vita remake.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 comes out on October 31 in Japan.

Nepgear And The Cast From mk2 Are In Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1

Nepgear didn’t exist when Compile Heart made Hyperdimension Neptunia, but Neptunia’s little sister will be in the PlayStation Vita remake, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1. Dengeki PlayStation says Uni, Ram, and Rom from Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 will be in the game as well.

The magazine also says a Re;Birth 1 will have a coliseum in the game.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 Has Plutia And Histoire As DLC Characters

An early report from Degenki PlayStation says that Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 will have characters from Hyperdimension Neptunia V like Plutia and Peashy (the TurboGrafx mascot) as downloadable characters. Histoire is also said to be a DLC character.

There are conflicting reports that Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 may have a new ending too. We are looking for more information to confirm this.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2 Reaches Vita In March

The second Hyperdimension Neptunia game is making its way to PlayStation Vita in the next few months.

Compile Heart have announced via Dengeki magazine that Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2 is slated for release on March 20th, 2014.

This is the PlayStation Vita version of Hyperdeimension Neptunia mk2 that Compile Heart announced back in September. We’ll update with further details as they’re made available.
