7th Dragon - neue Bilder

DSi Bundle for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Echoes of Time

Just one week after the announcement of a Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days DSi bundle, Square Enix is back in the headlines once again with another bundle, this one for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Echoes of Time.

Over in Japan, the DS version of the multiplatform action RPG will be released in both standard and limited packages. The limited package includes a copy of the game and a special DSi unit. Pricing for the limited edition is set at 23,940 yen. The standard version goes for 5,040 yen.

Unfortunately, Square Enix hasn't shared pictures of the special DSi system. It did say to expect something based off the current white model, with an Echoes of Time logo.

In other Crystal Chronicles news, Square Enix unveiled today a pre-order bonus for the game. Those who reserve will get a Kumi Tanioka-produced soundtrack CD featuring four tracks from throughout the Crystal Chronicles series:

Track 1: "Hateshinaki Sora" ("Endless Sky") from Crystal Chronicles (GameCube)
Track 2: "RoF Medley" from Ring of Fates (DS)
Track 3: "Main Theme" from My Life as a King (WiiWare)
Track 4: "Main Theme" from Echoes of Time.

Square Enix's announcement was a bit vague on the matter, but it's presumable that this CD will be given to buyers of both the Wii and DS versions of the game.

As usual, these announcements apply to Japan only at the moment. We'll let you know if Square Enix's international divisions make similar announcements outside of Japan.
