Nintendo Plans “Nintendo DSi Enhanced” Game Cards With DSi-Only Features

Masato Kuwahara, project leader of the Nintendo DSi Hardware group, responsible for the development of the new Nintendo handheld, says that the company is planning “Nintendo DSi enhanced game cards,” offering DSi hardware-specific game features.

Kuwahara continues, “For example, you will use these features if you want to create textures from photographs taken with the DSi camera. The Inspiration Behind Nintendo DSi Development.”

Duke Nukem Trilogy refait surface !

Annoncé lors de l'E3 2008, nos confrères d'IGN ont pu essayer un niveau de Duke Nukem Trilogy lors du Game Developer Conference sans pour autant dévoiler les premiers visuels. Intitulé Duke Nukem Trilogy : Critical Mass, ce jeu d'action sera en 2D/3D alors que la version PSP proposera un rendu graphique en 3D.

Situé dans un monde dévasté, le titre offre un gameplay assez classique avec donc la croix directionnelle pour se déplacer et les boutons afin de sauter, tirer et plus encore. L'écran tactile sera toutefois utilisé lors des scènes de sniper, la sélection des armes et l'affichage de votre santé. Une option multi-joueurs en co-opération sera intégrée.

Sa sortie est désormais prévue pour l'Automne 2009 en Europe.

Performance Design Products ‘SmartStylus’ brings vibration, motion control to DS

Performance Design Products has created the SmartStylus, a device that “can include a variety of added features, including LEDs, sound and motion feedback.” The pen also includes vibration, much like the rumble pak available for the DS. Nintendo is yet to grant license to PDP for this device. Thanks to Victor for the heads up!

Wrap your hands around this, Faithful: the official website for SRTOGS:EF (not quite as much of a mouthful as SMT:DS2:RKvKA, we know… but close), is now live. Mounds of game info, character bios, and exclusive videos are available for your viewing pleasure, and they’re only going to grow larger as the site is constantly updated with new content.

Detailed descriptions of the fast-paced combat engine, including info on combo chains and special tactics, are waiting for you to lay your eyes upon them. Videos for each of the four presently revealed characters show them in all their glory, wailing pain and destruction on their enemies. We’re going to give the site ample support, so do be sure to check back frequently. Scheduled updates are set to round out info and content from the game.



With its unique combat and titillating story, this is one sci-fi action RPG sure to stick out this spring.

Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier for Nintendo DS™ releases on April 28th with an MSRP of $34.99. Each and every launch copy includes a soundtrack CD with music from the game within a deluxe boxed package.
