Gears 2 looks flat-out amazing. Awesome CG trailer. Gameplay looks great too.
I thought Fallout 3 had a tough gig showing first, not the type of game that does a five-minute demo really well. All that said, I'm super pumped for it (on PS3... of course)
RE5 looks fun, love the Friday release. Totally going to have a good weekend there.
After that we all sat around and poked at the press conference, I mean, the Avatar thing is alright, the death of the blades is good and it's a decidedly Apple-like interface.
I would discount Lips entirely - but the developer and the ability to use your own music has be intrigued. I'm afraid it may just play back the music without scoring though --- and I'm more of a Rock Band guy than a Singstar one.
And as far as FFXIII, no, I didn't see it coming, but when they brought him out at the end, I knew there was something big going down. I don't think it hurts Sony as much since it's not happening in Japan, and that's the most important FFXIII market. But regardless, it was a loss for PS3.
Looking forward to seeing what Nintendo has in store for 1:1 motion (wii sports 2?) and your reactions to the Sony event.
