Streaming Announcement: MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM UNICORN RE:0096

The new TV series Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE:0096 will be available as simulcast on DAISUKI.net starting April 3 at 7:30am JST.

Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, a seven-part OVA series based on writer Harutoshi Fukui's novels, will be recut for television by its director Kazuhiro Furuhashi. A new opening & ending theme will also come with this new version for TV.

One Punch Man Creator’s Other Manga Gets Its First Anime Trailer

The world fell in love with One Punch Man over the course of the last few months, and while we wait for a second season (and drown ourselves with the OVAs), one has to wonder what could possible satistfy the need for another adventure involving Saitama and Genos.

Well, how about some more awkward goodness brought to you by the same mind behind One Punch Man, in the form of his second manga turned anime, Mob Psycho 100.

Mob Psycho 100 follows the main character Mob, who lives in a world where some people have developed psychic abilities, but he himself has basically the Saitama equivalent amount of power that you would expect from a manga created by ONE. Mob has to keep his personality in check to keep his powers from exploding, but every once in a while you might actually get a glimpse of him at his 100% power.

Scary.

The art direction of this series is similar to One Punch Man, however it seems like Bones is going to put their own twist on it by giving it more of a hand drawn aesthetic, to the benefit of all of the fans.

Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions Film Listed in Early 2017 Outside Japan

Entertainment news source World Screen reported last week that the Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions film will open in theaters outside Japan in early 2017.

Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine previously teased the film's story, which takes place six months after the end of the manga:

In the past Yūgi Yami and Kaiba have clashed many times!! Yami Yūgi, who resides in Yūgi Mutō's body, and Kaiba will have a duel that bets their prides and accepts each other's mutual experience.

The Japanese version of the film will feature the following returning cast and characters:

- Shunsuke Kazama as Yūgi Mutō
- Kenjiro Tsuda as Seto Kaiba
- Hidehiro Kikuchi as Hiroto Honda (Tristan Taylor)
- Hiroki Takahashi as Katsuya Jōnōchi (Joey Wheeler)
- Junko Takeuchi as Mokuba Kaiba
- Maki Saitou as Anzu Masaki (Téa Gardener)
- Rica Matsumoto as Ryō Bakura

Additional cast members include:

- Actor Kento Hayashi in his first voice acting role as Aigami, a mysterious boy who appeared before Yūgi and the others as they went about their usual daily life.
- Kana Hanazawa as Sera, a mysterious girl who accompanies Hayashi's character Aigami
- Satoshi Hino as Mani, who travels with Aigami to perform their mission.
- Kendo Kobayashi as Kudaragi
- Jungle Pocket as minions of the Kudaragi Group

Satoshi Kuwabara (Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal, Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal II) is directing the film, which opens in Japan on April 23.

der film wird wohl das beste was kyoani in den letzten jahren zustande gebracht hat, oder?

kabaneri of the iron fortress läuft gerade und wird wohl gemacht, weil es noch ein wenig länger mit season 2 dauern wird.
ist 1:1 vom gleichen animationsteam. selbst sawano ist dabei. und da man nicht an einen manga gebunden ist, ist das pacing schon gleich in der ersten episode besser. amazon hat den zuschlag für den westen bekommen und du kannst dir die erste episode als prime kunde anschauen.

ich tippe auf 2017 mit s2.

KyoAni hat die Story nicht geschrieben, sondern adaptiert sie. Wenn du also fragst, ob KyoAni in den letzten Jahren gute Adaptionen gebracht haben, dann lautet die Antwort haben sie.

Ich hab jede Hoffnung bei Gundam aufgegeben. Damals hatte ich die Hoffnung auf eine Complete Box aller OVA Filme aber daraus wurde nichts. Bei der Serie würde ich keine einzige Hoffnung machen. Auf Österreich & Deutschland kann anscheinend die Firma verzichten.

Der Trailer sagt mir zu! Zwar habe ich keine Ahnung was es inhaltlich geht! :v: Vom Stil her macht er einen guten Eindruck. Jetzt muss ich nur noch auf einen Englischen oder sogar auf einen deutschen Release hoffen.

Ich find es noch immer so schade, dass Haruhi nicht weiter geht. :/ Ist noch immer einer der unterhaltsamsten Geschichten ever.
