I got my PS3 on friday with resistance and marvel ultimate alliance. What can i say about this new console hmmm... took me about 2 hours two download system update and 2 demos. played demo of resistance and then took my copy back to the store 5 minuts later. I kept marvel ultimate alliance even though the review favor the 360 version. The tilt function makes the game a bit more itresting to me but even so its only an average game, however my wife enjoys playing it with me. The motorstorm demo is kinda fun although i would also say it was an average game. Im no fanboy i have gotten every console ever realesed and i even have a wii i have yet to ripp open but i must say i am very dissapointed in the PS3 as it stands now. 360 launch had many more games which i enjoyed PDZ, condemed, Kameo, Need for Speed, and Project Gothem all of which i baught day one along with call of duty. All i looked forward to and all i enjoyed playing i was excited about the dashboard the live enhancments, the 360 as a hole. With the PS3 i only got marvel ultimate alliance and then just so i had at least one game. The dashboard is a joke imho, not sure if 360 has jaded me or what. I realy think microsoft is showing that software is realy where its at this gene and sony just could not produce as MS could. PS the PS3 is quieter that is until i left NBA07 downloading and then played Gears of War for an hour then i heard a noise that was louder than a vacuum cleaner i shut my xbox off asap thinking it was overheating but turns out it was the PS3. If you dont have the money to burn i say def. wait to buy. Wife says i have to wait to xmas to open up this wii but she just fell asleep muhahahah.
