The remake of "SILENT HILL 2," released last year, surpassed one million units shipped worldwide within a week of its release, but "SILENT HILL f" is growing in shipments at an even faster pace in each region, including Japan. As the latest installment in the series, it has been met with a great response both at home and abroad.
"SILENT HILL f" is a new psychological horror game set in Japan, the first in the "SILENT HILL" series, created with a realistic and immersive story and design based on the concept that "beauty is horrifying." Players take on the role of Hinako Shimizu, a high school student living in Ebisugaoka, as she explores a town shrouded in fog and undergoing a horrifying transformation, solving mysteries and fighting to protect herself. As she fights to survive, Hinako faces choices that will determine her own fate.
The story is written by Ryukishi07, while creature and character designs are by kera. The music is by Akira Yamaoka, who has worked on many songs for the "SILENT HILL" series, and composer Kensuke Inage, who has a wealth of experience in anime and game music, bringing together an impressive team of staff members.
Combining 4K images of ancient Japanese landscapes, evocative sound, and evolved action and game design, this title will provide players with an unprecedented immersive experience.
