Das beste ich ja auch, dass er nach seinem (schon wieder) Beinahetod im Flieger Selbstzweifel bekommt und das Töten an den Nagel hängen und zukünftig kürzer treten will. Aber ein paar Spieleminuten und Cutscenes später hat ihm das Yetitöten wohl so sehr zugesagt, dass er sich weiterhin unzählige blutige Schusswechsel leistet. Und sowieso ist es nicht so einfach mitten im Abenteuer nach hause zu gehen.
 
Der kanadische Entwickler United Front Games arbeitet gerade an einem PC-Exclusive. Es spielt in Sleeping Dogs' Hong Kong und bietet - wie sollte es auch anders sein - die größtmögliche Freiheit das Spiel so zu spielen, wie es der Spieler will.
Persönlich hoffe ich auch auf einen Release auf Konsolen, sofern es sich technisch vernünftig umsetzen lässt. Ich mag das Exklusiv-Spiel-Modell einfach nicht.

Darum geht es doch auch nicht. Es geht darum, dass sie einen interessanten Ansatz beim Drake-Sunnyboy ganz kurz aufflackern lassen, um ihn im Anschluss im nächsten Ozean versenken. Mir hätte es gefallen, wenn Drake sich mal ernsthaft mit sich selbst in der Hinsicht auseinandergesetzt hätte. Vielleicht zu dem Entschluss kommt, dass er trotzdem weitermachen muss, um im Dorf irgendwie noch zu retten, was noch zu retten ist, als der Panzer mit seinen Gefährten dort einfällt. Aber da kam nix mehr. Gar nix mehr. Als ob er sich durch das Geballer wieder aus seinem Gedankenkonstrukt entfernt hätte. Das ist eben sehr unglaubwürdig und hat eine Facette vernichtet, die ich am Charakter Drake mal wirklich interessant fand.

The PC has become the world’s largest game platform. China, the developing countries around the world, PC is a piece of platform they already own. They can upgrade it two, three, four times without having to change the basic platform. So the total of cost of ownership of a game PC is quite attractive. – Jen-Hsung

And so I think that there’s too many other ways to enjoy games now, for the game console to enjoy the hay days of the past. But we’ll see. The thing that I do know is this, without any question is that the PC is continuing to expand the number of titles. Great titles are coming to the PC. It’s is continuing to grow and the quality of titles is growing up ever so fast. – Jen-Hsung

Ist unity.

Er hat aber noch nicht die neusten Treiber und die ganzen Nvidia exklusiven Sachen an.also erstmal ruhig bleiben.

Damn, SpaceDrake (translator for Recettear/TitS 2) just hinted at possible future Tales of... games coming to Steam.
Then he backtracked that he has no actual news, but I'm sensing possible NDA here.
