I may have found significance (or symbolism) in Narutos Eyes. They do not form a Crucifix; but rather resemble the Kanji Chu (中) which means Middle.
As you may be aware, Nagato represents the Historical Buddha, Shaka. I am also certain the Lotus flower in Konans hair is also symbolic.

Ascetic Life
For six years [the Historical Buddha] practiced severe austerities, one legend says he ate only a single grain of rice a day and others say he ate only a single sesame seed each day. Many artistic representations of Siddhartha's ascetic years show him wasted to skin and bones. But he came to realize that self-mortification, and its opposite, the life of ease and indulgence, is not the answer.
He ended his days as an ascetic, came down from the mountains to cleanse himself, and then sat under a bodhi (bo) tree to meditate. For seven days he meditated, during which time he was attacked and tempted by evil spirits who hoped to break his meditation. On the seventh day, [the Historical Buddha] attained Buddha-hood.

The Six States of Existence
Buddhist teachings incorporate countless manifestations of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. To Buddhists, the transmigration of souls from one creature to another has continued unabated for eons. Those reaching full enlightenment are few, for the path to awakening is long and arduous. But the path is not closed, and in any period, one or more -- or none at all -- may appear. It is said that [the Historical Buddha] did not attain enlightenment in one life time, but rather struggled over many lives and through numerous incarnations to finally become [enlightened]. In some Buddhist traditions, the term Bodhisattva actually refers to [the Buddha] prior to his enlightenment, including the countless lives he passed through en route to Buddha-hood.
There are six states of existence before one reaches Buddha-hood. The lowest three states are (1) people in hells; (2) hungry ghosts; (3) animals. The highest three states are (4) asuras; (5) humans; (6) devas. All beings in these six states are doomed to death and rebirth in a recurring cycle over countless ages, unless they can break free from desire and attain enlightenment.
Take the Middle Path
Enlightenment cannot be achieved by practicing either austerity or pleasure. The way to enlightenment is the middle path.

The Middle Path is the Buddhist practice of non-extremism.
In Theravada Buddhism's Pali Canon, the Middle Waycrystallizes the Historical Buddha's Nirvana-bound path of moderation away from the extremes of sensual indulgence and self-mortification and toward the practice of wisdom, morality and mental cultivation. In later Theravada texts as well as in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism, the Middle Way refers to the concept, enunciated in the Canon, of direct knowledge that transcends seemingly antithetical claims about existence.
Avoiding both these extremes, the Tathagata (the Perfect One) has realized theMiddle Path;it gives vision, gives knowledge, leads to calm, to insight, to enlightenment and to [Nirvana]. And what is that Middle Path realized by the Tathagata? It is the Noble Eightfold path: right understanding, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness and right concentration.

Lotus
The lotus is one of the Eight Auspicious Symbols and the most poignant representations of Buddhist teaching.
The roots of a lotus are in the mud, the stem grows up through the water, and the heavily scented flower lies pristinely above the water, basking in the sunlight. This pattern of growth signifies the progress of the soul from the primeval mud of materialism, through the waters of experience, and into the bright sunshine of enlightenment.
The color of the lotus has bearing on the symbolism associated with it:
- White Lotus This represents the state of spiritual perfection and total mental purity (bodhi). It is associated with the White Tara and proclaims her perfect nature, a quality which is reinforced by the color of her body.
- Pink Lotus This the supreme lotus, generally reserved for the highest deity. Thus naturally it is associated with the Great Buddha himself.
- Red Lotus This signifies the original nature and purity of the heart (hrdya). It is the lotus of love, compassion, passion and all other qualities of the heart. It is the flower of Avalokiteshvara, the bodhisattva of compassion.
- Blue Lotus This is a symbol of the victory of the spirit over the senses, and signifies the wisdom of knowledge. Not surprisingly, it is the preferred flower of Manjushri, the bodhisattva of wisdom.

Auch wenn ich das in diesem fall genau so sehe gibt es auch viele die sich für Nagatos Background interessierenNur das Itachis Background interessant gewesen ist und man neues erfahren hat über Konohas Geschichte
Ich weiss, nicht .. glaube zwar auch nicht an große Plottwists, aber vielleicht begeistern mich ja kleinigkeiten, wer weiss. Interessant zu sehen ist, das Nagato im Grunde nur Yahikos Traum weiter fortführt, so wie ich das sehe und es ursprünglich gar nicht sein eigener war.Find Nagatos Hintergrund ja auch interessant - aber denke nicht das man in dem Flashback viel neues/interessantes erfahren wird - Yahiko wird halt irgendwie geplättet, naja mal schauen
