Joe director Hideki Kamiya hints at new title.
December 12, 2003 - Viewtiful Joe director Hideki Kamiya today updated his column on the official Japanese Capcom website and touched on a wide assortment of topics. Kamiya wrote that he was excited about the coming Japanese release of Viewtiful Joe Revival, which is a special edition version of the game that is both cheaper and -- believe it or not -- features an added level of increased difficulty.
The director also noted that he was very pleased to see that USA Today had named Viewtiful Joe as the Best Game of 2003.
Kamiya also hinted at his next project, which, he said, like Joe would not be a "normal" game. He writes, "next time we meet we'll be waiting for our next game together."
Most interesting is an illustration at the bottom of the column that depicts Viewtiful Joe watching a blurred-over television, presumably displaying the still-secret name game. The new project appears to capture Joe's attention and the character teases: "...but you can't see anything!"
Joe's right. We don't think anybody will be able to tell what the game is. It may have nothing at all to do with the Viewtiful Joe franchise, even. But whatever it is, we're excited as Kamiya's track record is solid.

Leider kann man ja überhaupt nichts auf dem Bild erkennen, außer das es vielleicht wirklich ein 2D Spiel ist und zufällig ist Viewtiful Joe ein 2D Spiel.
