Das Spiel wird in der aktuellen Famitsu nur als "HOSPITAL" betitelt - mal sehen wie es bei uns heißen wird.. Scheint sich aber die Trauma Center Reihe zu richten, aber wohl noch etwas abgedrehter - siehe Scan. Als Riesen Trauma Center Fan, freut mich die Ankündigung natürlich.



Schön das Atlus wieder mal was für die Wii ankündigt. Charakter Design ist wiedermal klasse.

Trauma Center Second Opinion und New Blood sind mit die besten Spiele für Wii, ich liebe beide Spiele. Auch wenn New Blood imo nochmal was besser war.
Entsprechend wird Hospital auf jeden Fall beobachtet, hoffentlich kommt's zu uns.

Wobei Trauma Center ja noch nie wirklich hohe Zahlen hatte... ich fänd's verdammt schade, wenn's nicht zu uns kommt. Grade der Koop in New Blood war echt klasse.

Omfg - scheint diesmal nochmehr in Richtung Adventure zu werden !!!

The makers of the Trauma Center series aren't straying too far from what they know for their newest title. In development over at Atlus for Wii, Hospital promises to bring more Wiimote-based operations and a dramatic storyline to Wii owners.

Director Daisuke Kanada explained some of the differences between Hospital and Trauma Center via a short commentary in this week's Famitsu, the place where word first broke about the game. Hospital is not a "surgical action" game like previous hospital-themed titles from the developers, he said. Instead, it attempts to make into a game all areas of a hospital.

Players will be able to select from six doctors: Hank, Maria, Tomoe, Mira, Gabriel, and CR-S01 (that last one is a prisoner number -- yes, one of the doctors is a convict). All characters have their own specialties. Mira actually appeared in Trauma Center: Second Opinion.

The dramatic areas of the game promise a fusion of manga and anime, with full voice for all the characters.

Despite Kanada's words, the game will have surgical actions as well, although we're not sure of the details just yet. The surgical action areas of the game do appear to make use of Wiimote motion controls. Two player simultaneous play support is also in the works.

Hospital is currently 30% done. A release date has yet to be finalized.

Wird jetzt der Teil zwischen den OPs, der sonst ja immer nur durch die Bilder erzählt wurde in Adventure Form spielbar sein oder muss man das Krankenhaus jetzt auch managen oder was soll dieses "Instead, it attempts to make into a game all areas of a hospital."?

das wird sicher keine Krankenhaus-Sim ;-). denke wir können uns die gameplayunterschiede zwischen TC und Hospital so vorstellen wie bei Phoenix Wright und Edgeworth Adventure

Infos zu den 6 spielbaren Charakteren + HQ Scans

Gabriel Cunningham is the Dr. House of the crew; he likes yelling at people and is an expert diagnostician. His scenario has you examining patients at the doctor's office, using a stethoscope and such to figure out what's causing their symptoms.

- Prisoner CR-SO1 is a brilliant young surgeon who was sentenced to 250 years in cryogenic prison, but accepted a reduced sentence in exchange for his returning to the operating table. (Did I mention that this game's set in the near future, by the way?) His scenario will be the most like traditional Trauma Center; you'll be conducting assorted operations on very sick patients.

- Maria Torres is an on-site paramedic doctor; her story has you applying advanced first aid to multiple patients simultaneously at the scenes of disasters.

- Hank Freebird is a hotshot cosmetic surgeon; you'll use a variety of fancy equipment to help with his patients, performing procedures like hip-replacement surgeries.

- Tomoe Tachibana is a reserved Japanese girl who wears her doctor's white coat on top of her kimono. Her specialty is endoscopic surgery, the type where they run a tiny camera into your body.

- Finally, Naomi Kimishima is a genius surgeon who's appeared in the supporting cast of several Trauma Center games. She's changed careers since then and is now a CSI-style forensic specialist, reconstructing organic evidence from the scene of the crime, so her scenario plays out a great deal more like a traditional adventure game.
