Ich denke mal hier passt es am besten.

Tot geglaubte leben länger. Nachdem die letzt jährige VGX 2013 (Nachfolger der VGAs) total in die Hose gegangen ist (bis auf ein paar TellTale Ankündigungen und NoMansSky) dachte keiner mehr daran das man sich dieses Jahr trauen wird eine Neuauflage zu bringen.

The Game Awards 2014 heißt der VGA/VGX Nachfolger und wird am 5. Dezember in Las Vegas stattfinden (Ein Tag vor einem kleinen Playstation Event in Las Vegas von dem der ein oder andere vielleicht schon was gehört hat).

Produziert wird das ganze von Geoff Keighley, falls den wer nicht kennt das war der kleine Typ neben Joel McHale bei den VGX. Bestes Host Duo ever :D :fp:

Es gibt schon einige bestätigte Teilnehmer:

Nintendo of America Präsident Reggie Fils-Aime, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, Metal Gear Creator Hideo Kojima, COO EA Peter Moore, Rockstar Games, Präsident von Warner Bros. Martin Tremblay, Valve, Sony Computer Entertainment America Boss Shawn Layden und Xbox Head Phil Spencer.

Ich bin gespannt drauf. Schlechter als letztes Jahr kann es ja nicht werden und ich fand die VGA's eigentlich immer ganz gut.

Und diesmal Reggie bitte Metroid V und nicht nur ein Anstecker.....

Geoff Keighley lässt sich nicht klein kriegen.
Nach dem aus der VGA und der Schande der VGX versucht er es jetzt Independent und sie alle kommen.
Der Reggienator, Kojima San, Valve und viele mehr.

ich denke man kann immer unzufrieden sein mit solchen award nominierungen (z.b. fehlt ein smash bei den goty).
aber eigentlich ist das hier recht solide. schön das auch threes bei den mobile games nominiert wurde.

In some cases the jury is provided advanced review code of upcoming games in order to meet the Game Awards 2014 judging deadlines. Games must have been commercially released by Tuesday, November 25 to be eligible for awards.
