Tales of Xillia NA Limited Edition Revealed

Namco Bandai are throwing out a little surprise for all those in North America who have or are going to pre-order their upcoming highly anticipated RPG Tales of Xillia. Said surprise is that all regular first editions of the game will be upgraded to a special Limited Edition which will include the following extras: 2 special DLC costumes (one for each of the game’s leads), an exclusive collectable character profile booklet, and a CD containing music from the game. The Limited Edition will remain priced at sixty dollars and anyone who has already pre-ordered the game before today will have automatically been upgraded to it.

Note that the Xillia Limited Edition should not be confused with the previously announced one hundred dollar Tales of Xillia Collector’s Edition that includes an exclusive Milla figure. Indeed both the art book and music CD that comes with the CE edition will be different from the ones included with the LE edition. Which means that those looking to own every single Xillia tchotchke being released will need to purchase both editions and as such you have my sympathy. There is no word yet if Europe and the UK will receive their own version of the Limited Edition as well.

By the by Namco Bandai have stated that the Limited Edition is happening thanks to the strong response the Collector’s Edition has received in North America and which as far as I can tell appears to be sold old here. Hopefully this bodes well for both Xillia‘s overall sales in North America and Namco Bandai’s willingness to be more free and timely with the release of Tales games going forward. Tales of Xillia 2 already came out in Japan in November 2012 after all and waiting so long for these games is not conducive for my health. Tales of Xillia will arrive exclusively for PS3 on August 6 in North America and August 9 in Europe and the UK. Ich werde auch die ganz normale (Day One weil ichs einfach zum Release will) Edition kaufen. Egal wie geil das Spiel ist, irgendwie sind CEs imo sinnlos.

Oah wie geil der Trailer geworden ist. Kann mich an keinen japanischen Trailer erinnern der so gut war :hmm:
 
Verdirbt man sich denn nicht den Spielspaß, wenn man durch die Trailer schon vorab so viel vom Game gesehen hat ?
 
Sehe ich auch so, ausser es sind halt so extrem krasse Spoilertrailer wie z.B. vor einigen Monaten bei MGR Reveangence. Aber ist ja zum glück eher selten.^^
 
Solange man nicht weiß was da vorgeht, empfinde ich es nicht als Spoiler. Damals der japanische Story-Trailer zu ToG hatte eine End-Szene drinnen und es echt niemanden aufgefallen, dass es das Ende sein könnte. Aber klar, einige empfinden das schon als Spoiler. Deshalb habe ich es vorsichtshalber auch markiert.

Blödsinn. :3 Es ist bei allen gleich, man kann das ganze Spiel vorher gesehen haben, wenn das Spiel awesome ist, dann ist es immer noch awesome wenn man es spielt! Nur diese oh Spoiler zerstören alles Typen, reden sich was ein.

Ich kannte Spiele komplett durch Komplettlösungen aus Heften (früher als ich noch nicht dem Internet ausgesetzt war und den Spoiler Wahn ab bekommen hatte) und ich kann nur sagen, das hat die Vorfreude gesteigert und das Spiel war fantastisch und das wars auch schon.

Und um so mehr man sich von einem Spiel anschaut um so besser ist man informiert und kann besser entscheiden ob das Spiel einen liegt. :)

Ich habe mich auch eine Zeit lang von dem Spoiler Wahnsinn anstecken lassen und dadurch so manchen Fehlkauf gemacht, weil ich einfach nichts über das Spiel wusste und auch nichts über Sachen, die mich dann störten. Bis ich mich erinnert habe wie ich früher z.B. die Tomb Raider 2 Lösung in der ScreenFun gelesen habe und mir vorgestellt habe wie geil es wäre, wenn ich das spielen könnte. Und dann konnte ich es tatsächlich irgendwann und es war nur genial! :-P

So musste ich mal los werden, weil ich finde das so übelst blödsinnig diese fast schon wahnsinnige Spoilerangst. Was soll passieren, wirklich? Du sieht ein gutes Spiel, was soll das zerstören? Es könnte doch nur was zerstören, wenn das Spiel schlechter ist als du denkst? :neutral:
