um Patchorgien zu verhindern und wenn das Spiel gut ist, dann scheint der Preis für die Patches nicht so hoch zu sein. Bethesda hat schon einige Patches für die Konsole rausgebracht und macht es noch...
 
Ist das der Grund, weshalb nur die PS3-Fassung ein Patch spendiert bekam? Sony verlangt also kein Geld für Patches, oder sehe ich das falsch?

Nein, hast du die News nicht gelesen? a) Es gab noch keinen Patch für die Boxversion ergo: Er wäre frei b) Konami=inkompetente Idioten die zu viel Probleme mit der Technik haben und angeblich nicht genug Manpower.

Da lege ich die Originale lieber in meine PS2 als das was Konami hier macht auch nur mit 1 Cent zu unterstützen und so sollte es jeder Gamer machen. Man muss sich nicht jeden dampfenden Haufen denn einen die Entwickler anbieten schön reden damit es zu einer wunderbar duftende Rose wird.

Ich bin mir jetzt nicht sicher, aber gilt das "erster Patch kostenlos" nicht nur für XBLA-Games.
Zudem die 20.000$ pro Patch auch nur für Indiegames gelten. Für Retailgames wars teurer. Weiß gar nicht mehr wieviel, aber nen Bekannter, der für XBLA entwickelt hat, erzählte mir, dass Retailgames teurer wären im Patching.

Ich weiß nicht, wo das Problem ist. Schließlich muss Microsoft sicherstellen, dass ein Patch keinen Schaden anrichtet und die Software auf jeder Konsolen-Revision einwanfrei läuft (und noch zig andere Gründe, die ihr euch nun ausdenken dürft), und dafür ist die Gebühr da.
