Vielleicht kennen ja einige die Shining-Serie. Die letzten PSP-Teile (ich wundere mich eh, warum sie die Vita ausgelassen haben) haben die Valkyria Chronicles Engine benutzt und zuletzt wurde ein Kampfspiel angekündigt.

Tolle Nachricht:

13.05.14 - Sega gibt die Entwicklung des Rollenspiels Shining Resonance in der Famitsu bekannt, das im Wild Arms-Studio Media Vision entsteht. Das Character Design stammt erneut von Tony. Release: TBA (Japan)

Ich wünsche allen viel Spaß bei den Shining Diskussionen. Ich mach mal den Anfang: Ich hab mit Shining Tears angefangen und mich direkt in die Reihe verschaut. Anschließend hab ich über die Sega Collection diverse alte Teile nachgeholt, bzw. bin ich sogar noch dabei. Welche Teile habt ihr gespielt und was sind eure Lieblinge? Vor oder nach Tony?
Mir persönlich sagt das Tony Design ja sehr zu, ist imho eine nette Berreicherung, weshalb ich auch beide Artbooks von Udon gekauft habe^^.

Die Famitsu und Sega haben neue Details zum Rollenspiel Shining Resonance bekanntgegeben. Die Geschichte handelt auf dem Kontinent Alfheim, auf dem es einst viele Drachen gab. Mittlerweile sind die einstigen Weltherrscher verschwunden. Nur ein einziger Drache hat überlebt, der Kouryuu Irvan heißt. Die Armee und Drachenjäger machen Jagd auf ihn, doch ein Mädchen kann den Drachen vor den Verfolgern retten. In Shining Resonance soll die Geschichte der beiden erzählt werden. Na gut, dann sammeln wir mal alle Infos zu Shining Resonance:

According to the magazine report, the characters of will be drawn by Shining series artist Tony Taka, and will be developed by Wild ARMs makers Media.Vision. Shining Resonance will feature a dragon as the protagonist, and will have the theme of “dragons and musical instruments”.



As far as the battle system goes, the details are pretty light but it’s reported that the field and battle sequences will also be done in a seamless fashion, and will have parties of up to four players. It will also emphasize on the use of instruments for various effects. Depending on who you have as the “center character,” there will be different effects, too.



Additionally, the report mentions that the character models have a similar appearance to those seen in the Atelier series.



We also got some details on the characters, but the report seems to have partially blanked out some of the names and other details. Here’s what we got so far:



Shining Dragon Irvan: the protagonist of Shining Resonance. He/she isn’t a mix or a humanoid dragon, but an actual dragon. The human allies will be able to have him fight with a weapon called the Dragon *** Instrument, which uses some sort of melody.



Kilika Towa Alma (shown in the top image): a Songstress who uses a Dragon Wing Bow as a weapon of choice, to go with some holy magic. Kilika is an elf who inherited song magic that controls nature’s spiritual powers. She’s not that great when it comes to communicating with other people, but she has a kind heart.



*** Blanche: a black-haired princess who also happens to be a Magic Knight. She seems to come on strong and can be quite aggressive, even towards the protagonist.





**** Bretthart: a young red-haired man who is something like an older brother-figure to the protagonist.



*** Zalbard: a knight from the empire, who seems to be going after dragons (the protagonist).

Wird wohl das beste Artbook werden, weil da auch ausführlichere Informationen drin stehen (leider nicht von Tony). Die anderen beiden Artbooks sind ja wirklich nur Artworks und Interviews.

warum SEGA Pack kaufen? Man kann die SEGA Classic Spiele auf Steam einzeln kaufen! Somit auch zB. nur die Shining Force Teile oder Shining mit Sonic kaufen. Das bleibt dir überlassen.

Auf jeden Fall das 7,5 € Pack, da die Shining Teile einzeln schon so teuer sind. Da nehme ich dann doch lieber einpaar Spiele mit^^.

Ich hab bei Steam nachgeschaut! Für beide Shining Force Teile habe ich 1,24 euro bezahlt :v:

Shining Resonance is the latest of Sega’s Shining series, which will have a dragon named Irvan is the main character, and other party members will be able to use musical instruments to go with it. 4Gamer shares a look at a couple new screens that shows some more of the game’s action.


In the world of Shining Resonance, Irvan is one of the last dragons on the planet, but it’s been revealed that there will be other dragons that show up as villains. Maybe the flaming dragon shown in the above image is one of them?


There aren’t too many details as far as the battle system goes, but as previously reported, it will be done in seamless fashion with parties of up to four players, and the use of instruments for various effects.


The game’s official site reveals a look at some of the game’s weapons, and if you look closely, the weapons all appear to be some sort of instrument. The sword in the middle also looks like the same one seen on the Shining Dragon Irvan’s head… hmm.


Shining Resonance will be released this Winter for PlayStation 3.

Ich habe seinerzeit mit Shining in the Darkness und Shining Force die Serie zu schätzen gelernt - aber vor allem der 2. Teil von Shining Force auf dem Mega Drive war für mich einfach nur geil! :o

Hatte dann die Ehre, an der tollen GBA-Umsetzung vom 1. Teil und Shining Soul 2 mitzuwirken !

Aber der 2. Teil von SF bleibt für mich bis heute der beste Teil.
