Like kids squabbling on the playground, Sony Computer Entertainment President, Phil Harrison, wants to meet Nintendo President, Satoru Iwata, after school at the Game Developer's Conference in March. More...

Iwata was to give the "Platform Keynote" at the conference, but Sony apparently doesn't want Nintendo to steal the show. So a second "Platform Keynote" has been announced where Harrison will talk about the "Playstation 3: Beyond the Box".

"Focusing on the new creative, technical, and business opportunities provided by the arrival of PlayStation 3, the keynote will share Sony Computer Entertainment's innovative plans for the format and will provide a look at how new technology and new business models will help fuel the growth of the computer entertainment industry by attracting new consumers."

This is in contrast to Iwata's talk about "Disrupting Development":

"Developers know what drives the video game business. It is our work. We are the creators, the innovators, the entertainers. We understand that people who imagine things, even more than the people who engineer them, are the key to reaching players."

"As Nintendo has demonstrated with Nintendo DS, our goal is to expand the industry to new players—and to surprise existing players."

Kleiner Übersetzungsfehler, Sony möchte Nintendo die Show stehlen, da
Sony es eben NICHT will, dass Nintendo ihnen(Sony) die Show siehlt.

Mich beschleicht das laue Gefühl, dass ein Hauch E³ an der GDC erscheinen wird

es ist ja nicht so, dass der Revo 1:1 die cube hardware haben wird. mit dem richtigen shader-einsatz, wird die grafik wohl schon ansprechend werden.

Vor allem mit einem neu entwickelten Graphikchip, der halt abwärtskompatibel ist.. Aber neiinn...

Naja irgendwer hat mal gesagt das der Rev 3 mal stärker ist als der Cube. Dann sind alle ausgeflippt und meinten OOOHNNEEEEIHHNNN Nintendo wird untergehen... Ohne zu denken das "3 mal stärker" ziemlich viel stärker ist.. Auch wenn die Marketingviecher von Sony irgendwas von 10000 mal stärker labern.. Und die von MS auch..

Hmm das einzige was wir wissen:

Die Graphik wird "wow" sein.
Es wird besser aussehen als der Cube und die Xbox1
Gerüchten nach ein wenig schlechter als xbox2

Man sollte bedenken das dies alles nicht auf HDTV Bildschirmen läuft.. (Was ja logisch ist, wenn sie neue Zielgruppen erfassen wollen, dürfen sie nicht noch so ne Einkaufshürde dazutun.. "ja erst mit HDTV Bildschirm...")

Das erinnert mich, wie damals bei uns im Saturn monate vor der PSP riesige "Reservier dir deine PSP"-Plakate hingen. Und um den DS hat man sich kein bisschen geschert. Nicht, dassder DS so was nötig hätte
PSP ist ja schon hübsch auf ihr Art...
Aber back to topic!

Ich frage mich echt, wie die den Revo Controller in Geschäften sichern wollen... Mit einem Seil wäre ein bisschen scheisse, warscheinlich mit irgendwelchen... wie heissen diese Dinger... na egal, ihr wisst was ich meine. Wenn man sich zu weit entfernt, heult der Alarm oder Reggie kommt und bricht dir sämtliche Knochen.
Und wenn mehr als 2 Revos nebeneinander stehen?

2*4= 8 Controller!

Die Controller haben aber nur 4 Frekuenzen?
Naja, ma schau'n.
Ich freue mich jedenfalls schon sehr auf die Menschenmengen, die staunend vor dem Revo stehen werden und ale wollen mal ran^^!
