Project X Zone 2’s Second 3DS Theme Revealed

Bandai Namco has released an image showing off the second Project X Zone 2 theme for the 3DS. The theme has both Reiji Arisu and Xiaomu on the top screen, while the bottom screen shows the game’s logo.

The theme will be included in the game’s Sound Edition release for Japan. Project X Zone 2 will release this year in Japan on November 12th.

Xiaomu sieht sehr gut aus. Aber etwas erwachsener könnte sie sich ruhig verhalten. Wobei ich das bezweifel. Die ist ja auch schon.... ca. 750(?) Jahre alt.

Saya To Return As A Villain In Project X Zone 2: Brave New World

In a preview for this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine, it was announced that Saya, the main antagonist from Namco X Capcom will be back as a villain in Project X Zone 2: Brave New World.

The magazine issue is also expected to have more on a new system and other information. We’ll have details up once they become available.

Project X Zone 2 will release in Japan on November 12, 2015 for Nintendo 3DS.

Even Project X Zone 2’s Shopkeepers Are Crossover Characters

Project X Zone 2 is a buffet of fanservice down to the shopkeepers. Sylphie, who runs a shop in Capcom’s arcade game Forgotten Worlds, is in Project X Zone 2 as a weapons seller that appears in unexpected places.

The item shopkeeper, Miyuki, comes from a Namco shooter on the TurboGrafx16 called Ordyne. Ordyne has shops in the middle of stages players can fly into and the idea carried over to Project X Zone 2.

Famitsu also revealed a new character, Sheath. This rabbit girl comes from the North American branch of the same villainous group as Saya. Saya returns from Namco X Capcom as a Project X Zone 2 enemy too. Together, the two characters plan to guide the world into chaos.

Project X Zone 2 mit spielbarem Segata Sanshiro

08.09.15 - Im taktischen RPG Project X Zone 2 von Bandai Namco wird Segata Sanshiro spielbar sein. Das schreibt die neueste Famitsu.

Segata Sanshiro ist ein fiktiver Charakter, der von Sega für die Vermarktung des Saturn in Japan zwischen 1997 und 1998 entworfen wurde. Er ist eine Parodie von Sugata Sanshiro, einem legendären Judo-Kämpfer aus einem Akira Kurosawa Film. Release: 12.11.15 (Japan)

Famitsu has gone up with its latest online preview of Project X Zone 2, providing our first direct-feed look at the strategy RPG’s newest confirmed characters, including Segata Sanshiro.

Graphinica is handling the opening animation, under the supervision of Yasutoshi Iwasaki. A number of characters will appear. The opening theme is called “Sekai ha Hitotsu no Budai,” and the ending theme is called “Tsuki Akari no Curtain Call.” Both are composed by Yuzo Koshiro, with lyrics by Monolith Soft’s Souichirou Morizumi and vocals by Marina.
