Since the official thread got so huge and people where requesting a summary I thought I'd start this thread with just about every info we got (I hope!).

DS Demo Channel (Everybody's Nintendo Channel) announced

Nintendo announced that a DS download service is coming that will allow gamers to download DS demo's from your Wii and send them to your DS. It also lets users download and view video's for (upcoming) Wii games.

Fire Emblem DS announced

Apparently a remake of the very first Japan only NES Fire Emblem.

Online co-op in Super Smash Bros. Brawl confirmed

This doesn't need explenation, I would guess it's about the offline Adventure Mode you can go through with a friend in co-op but instead you can do it online. IGN confirmed it in their blogupdates on the event ("online co-op of some form").

Sonic in Super Smash Bros. Brawl confirmed

New trailer showed, plus a additional Sonic trailer on the Dojo site on which you can see his moves, hear ingame Sonic music from Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and see the start of his Final Smash (Super Sonic!).

WiiWare blowout

WiiWare uncovered, 7 new games announced, releasedate in Japan and pricing off 1 high profile WiiWare titel.

In Pokémon Farm you can import your Pokémon from Diamond & Pearl and transfirm them to this Wii Ware titel so that you can put them on your Pokemon-farm. On this farm you can raise your Pokemon and take care of them.

Dr. Mario is a puzzelgame like the other Dr. Mario's, but this time it's online.

Star Soldier R

Star Soldier R is the sequal off Star Soldier. A 3D verticale shooter filled with action, in which you have to destroy your enemies.

Bomberman
Developer: Hudson

Hudson also comes with Bomberman to Wii Ware (surprise!). Same goal as ever, destroy your enemies.

Joy Sound
Developer: Hudson

Joy Sound is a karaoke game and additional to the retail version, Joy Sound also comes to WiiWare. If you have a microphone (don't know if this is neccesarry), then you can download the game. You can download additional songs.

Mojipittan
Developer: Bandai Namco

Mojipittan is a puzzelgame that is very populair in Japan on the DS and PSP.

Monster Hunter 3 Wii announced

Monster Hunter is one of the more populair Sony franchises in Japan right now and was previously Sony exclusive. Monster Hunter 3 was announced exclusively 2 YEARS ago for the PS3, untill today. The PS3 version is removed from the officia site off Capcom (which probably means that it's cancelled altogether). On this moment Monster Hunter 3 is exclusive for Wii.

Sequal from the gamecube game is announced for Wii, again by Namco Bandai.

Monster Hunter 3 tri-Ankündigung: Capcoms Aktie erreicht Fünf-Jahres-Hoch / Video Download

11.10.07 - Capcoms Aktienkurs hat an der Tokioter Börse ein Fünf-Jahres-Hoch erreicht. Der Grund sind die Erwartungen der Anleger, dass die Gewinne des Konzerns durch die gestrige Ankündigung von Monster Hunter 3 tri steigen werden.

Die Aktie kletterte um 7,8 Prozent auf Yen 2.970. Das ist der höchste Stand seit September 2002. Analysten von CLSA Asia-Pacific werten das Papier von 'Sell' (verkaufen) auf 'outperform' (Aktie besser als der Markt). Man erwartet, dass die Gewinne von Monster Hunter 3 tri im Geschäftsjahr zu Buche schlagen, das im März 2009 endet.

Capcom-Sprecherin Chiho Tamoto hat sich hingegen nicht zu einem Erscheinungstermin geäußert.

Über 100 Spiele für Wii Ware in Arbeit

11.10.07 - Für Nintendos Wii Ware befinden sich mehr als 100 Spiele bei Publishern und Software-Entwicklern in Arbeit. Das schreibt die Kyoto Shimbun und stützt sich auf eine Aussage von Nintendo-Präsident Satoru Iwata.

Wii Ware ist ein Teil des Wii Shops, über den man neue Spiele - ähnlich Xbox Live Arcade - ab März 2008 kaufen und herunterladen kann.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl-Verschiebung in USA zeichnet sich ab / Video Download

11.10.07 - In den USA zeichnet sich immer mehr eine Verschiebung des Prügelspiels Super Smash Bros. Brawl ab. Gab Nintendo den Erscheinungstermin auf der E3 2007 noch mi 03.12.07 an, so wurde das Datum jetzt auf der offiziellen Website entfernt und gegen ein 'TBD' (to be determined = noch nicht festgelegt) ersetzt.

Arc System Works entwickelt Okira ku Ping Pong Wii für Wii Ware

11.10.07 - Arc System Works gibt bekannt, dass man an dem Sportspiel Okira ku Ping Pong Wii arbeitet; es soll im Wii Ware-Kanal im März 2008 in Japan zum herunterladen angeboten werden.

Mittels Wii-Controller führt man durch entsprechende Bewegungen Topspin, Backspin und andere typische Schläge aus. Es gibt einen Anfängermodus. Darin muss man sich nur auf das Bewegen der Fernbedienung konzentrieren, während der Ball immer getroffen wird.

Profis schalten auf 'manuell' und müssen präzise Schläge und Bewegungen ausführen. Bis zu vier Leute können mitspielen; auch Doppel sind möglich. Als Bonus gibt's noch einige Minispiele.
