My Hero Academia: Battle for All Gets Character Trailers For Momo And Kyoka

Bandai Namco released the latest character introduction trailers for My Hero Academia: Battle for All with a look at Momo Yaoyorozu and Kyoka Jiro in the upcoming Nintendo 3DS brawler.

Using her Creation Quirk, Momo is able to create any non-living object to use as weapons, making her an awesome rushdown character with the variety of weapons she can pull out for consecutive attacks that come in different ranges.

Her Quirk control involves connecting the dots on the bottom-screen to fill up her Creation Gauge and activate her Ultimate Time. While active, her Ultimate Time automatically fills up her Hero Gauge, which allows for even more aggressive pushing with powerful attacks.

Using her Earphone Jack, Kyoka uses her explosive sounds to blow up enemies. Her basic playstyle revolves around using mid-ranged attacks to beat down enemies with explosive soundwave combos.

Her Quirk control involves mashing the bottom-screen to increase the volume of her “Heartbeat Meter.” You activate her Ultimate Time by maxing out the volume. Similar to Momo, her Ultimate Time automatically starts to charge up her Hero Gauge, allowing her to keep on rocking out some explosive sounds.

My Hero Academia: Battle for All Gameplay Video Previews All Might

The video previews All Might's fighting style and his "One for All" quirk. Although All Might is extremely powerful, his quirk has a time limit that will cause the player to lose the fight if it is reached. Using his overwhelming strength, All Might can force enemies into a corner and unleash devastating attacks like "Backdrop" and "Detroit Smash." Additionally, players can tap the bottom screen to fill his "One for All Gauge." When the gauge is full, All Might's attack power and movement speed will increase, but his time limit will also approach more quickly.

The video also reveals that the next gameplay video will feature Tomura Shigaraki.

Bandai Namco Entertainment previously streamed gameplay videos for Denki Kaminari, Yūga Aoyama, Momo Yaoyorozu, Kyōka Jirō, Eijirō Kirishima, Shōto Todoroki, Tsuyu Asui, Minoru Mineta, Ochako Uraraka, Tenya Iida, Izuku Midoriya, and Katsuki Bakugō.

The game will ship on May 19.

Each playable character in the game will have a side story that can be unlocked by beating the main story mode, as well as character customization options. The game's voice cast are reprising their roles from the currently airing television anime series.

In the game, players aim to become the "No. 1 hero," and the manga's characters will appear with their unique powers. The game will retail for 5,700 yen (about US$50). Those who purchase the first edition of the game will get two cards for the Boku no Hero Academia: Gekitotsu! Heroes Battle (My Hero Academia: Clash! Heroes Battle) arcade card game as well as a download code for a Nintendo 3DS theme.

The Boku no Hero Academia: Gekitotsu! Heroes Battle arcade card game launched in Japanese arcades on April 28.

Dragon Ball Fusions 3DS Game Ships on August 8 in Japan

The July issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine revealed on Saturday that Bandai Namco Entertainment will ship the Dragon Ball Fusions Nintendo 3DS game on August 8. The game will retail for 5,700 yen (about US$52). A version bundling a Nintendo 3DS console with themed plates will retail for 23,700 yen (US$215).

An earlier issue of Weekly Shonen Jump had described the game as follows:

You (the protagonist) and Pinijji wish for Shenron to start the greatest and strongest martial arts tournament. He grants your wish, and the "Jikūichi Budōkai" (Number 1 in Time Space Martial Arts Tournament) begins!

Naomi Shindoh will voice Pinijji in the game. The game will put a large focus on fusion characters. By using a Capsule Corp-made bracelet, new fusions called "EX Fusions" have become possible. New fusions include Karoly (Kakarot (Goku) x Broly; spelled the same way as "calorie" in Japanese), Gorillin (young Goku x Krillin), Krigohan (Gohan x Krillin; a pun on the word chestnut rice), and Prillin (Piccolo x Krillin).

A manga adaptation of the game debuted in Shueisha's Saikyo Jump magazine on April 1.

Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters erstmals vorgestellt
