Das sogenannte Sony Value Pack wird eine 40 Gigabyte Festplatte beinhalten, ebenso soll dem Paket ein Sixaxis Controller beiliegen, WiFi und zwei USB-Ports sollen sparsamen Spielern ebenfalls nicht vorenthalten werden.

Heißt im Klartext, dass die 40GB WiFi und 2 USB Ports hat?!?

ähm... das kann heisen sie hat 2 usb ports... das kann aber auch eine "reaktion" auf die gerüchte sein das die 40gb version 2 usb ports weniger hat...

Ankündigung von 40 GB PS3 und Preissenkung schon morgen?

Am morgigen Freitag will Sony offenbar die neue Version der PlayStation 3 mit einer 40 GB großen Festplatte sowie eine Preissenkung des 60 GB-Modells ankündigen.

Dies meldet zumindest Yahoo unter Berufung auf das französische Wirtschaftsblatt Les Echos. Demnach senkt das Unternehmen den Preis der 60 GB-Variante - wie schon vorher von mehreren Quellen berichtet - zum Weihnachtsgeschäft um 100 Euro auf 499 Euro, während das brandneue 40 GB-Modell für 399 Euro in die Läden kommt.
Damit sollen dann die Käufer angesprochen werden, die ansonsten eher zur günstigeren Konkurrenz greifen würden. Ein Sony-Sprecher habe die Berichte zwar nicht bestätigt, aber eine kurz bevorstehende Stellungnahme des Unternehmens angekündigt. Laut Les Echos ist dies morgen der Fall. Ich bin absolut gespannt, ob das stimmt. Das würde der PS3 sicherlich wieder auf die Beine helfen. Obs dann zum Durchbruch reicht, bleibt abzuwarten, aber ich werde es sehr genau beobachten

derzeit gibt es dazu keine ankündigung aber imo sieht es eher so aus als würde weltweit die BC eingestellt!
an deiner stelle würde ich entweder eine anfrage mit hang zur beschwerde an sony schicken... (hab ich gerade gemacht) oder dir eine 60gb ps3 kaufen die HDD kannst du ja selber tauschen

Also die 40GB Variante wäre genau das gewesen was ich im März gerne gekauft hätte. PS2 Spiele brauche ich nicht und eine größere Platte kann man selber nachrüsten 4x USB brauche ich nie und zur Not hätte ich einen Hub.

Ich finde das sich Sony ins eigene Fleisch damit schneidet. Eine 40 GB Station ohne Abwärtskompatibilität und mit nur 2 USB Slots. Im Gegenzug gibts die 60 GB mit 2 Spielen und allen USB Slots für gerade mal 100 Euro mehr. So wird das nie was mit der PS3. Ich persönlich bin ebenfalls enttäuscht von der PS3 und Sony. Schlechte Umsetzungen, keine Updates bei "nicht Sony Spielen" wie Rainbow Six*echt lächerlich...seit fast 4 Monaten ohne Lobby*. Auf der 360 gings doch auch. Wenn sich da nicht bald was ändert, sehe ich schwarz für Sony. Ach...ich bin kein Basher...ich hab selber ne PS3

Wem die 40GB zu wenig bietet der kann immer noch zur BIG Fassung greifen, welche jetzt auch 100 Euro weniger kostet - wo ist das Problem ?

Naja, es wird wohl auch genug Menschen geben, die ne PS3 haben wollen um PS3 Spiele zu spielen und/oder Blu Rays zu schauen und in dem Fall wird man sich schon über die 40GB Version freuen.

2 USB Ports würden mich schon mal gar nich stören und zu der Abwärtskompatiblität: Momentan zock ich als einziges PS2 Spiel PES6 und das nur bis PES2008 rauskommt... und glaub auch kaum, dass ich mir jetzt nochmal PS2 Spiele kaufe und da werd ich wohl auch nich der einzige sein.

Die Auswahlmöglichkeit +100 Euro Pricecut bei der 60er Version ist schon n Schritt in die richtige Richtung.
