The Neo Geo mini, a video game console celebrating the 40th Anniversary of SNK’s brand is announced!

The Neo Geo mini is a video game console, which will include 40 nostalgic titles from the Neo Geo system, which made its debut in 1990. This console will feature a 3.5 inches display, meaning the games can be enjoyed with no need to connect to a TV or monitor! The size of the Neo Geo mini means it fits perfectly in the palm of one’s hand. The Neo Geo mini will be available in two different designs, one for the Asian market and the other one for overseas markets (for North America, South America, Europe and other regions). With its design in black, white, and red, the Japanese version of the Neo Geo mini will faithfully reproduce the original Neo Geo arcade cabinet that was introduced in Japan in 1990. The overseas version will be a simple and modern design in black, white and blue.

Nett zum sammeln, aber zum spielen? Ich weiß nicht so recht. Gibts wenigstens anschließbare Controller?

Edit: ja gibt es, ohne extra Controller wär das nichts gewesen. Display ist ein wenig klein und im Handheldmode sieht es sehr unbequem aus.

Bleibt zu hoffen das man im Mobil Mode, auch problemlos die, das Joypad benutzen kann. Ansonsten ist der kleine Screen ja, kaum zu gebrauchen, wenn man direkt dran zockt.

In Japan soll sie am 24 Juli erscheinen und um die 110$ Kosten.

Habe es in Augenschein genomen am "RETRO" Stand der GC. Der "Automat" ist echt sehr winzig und leicht! Der kleine Monitor hatte ne gute Qualität, soweit ich "blinder" etwas erkennen konnte. Jedenfalls scharf, leuchtstark und keine schlieren oder Geschmiere. Zudem haben der "Stick" und die "Buttons" noch gute Druckpunkte gehabt.

Die Automaten waren aber noch nicht 100% Final! Man konnte aber natürlich auch schon mit Pad´s am Tv zocken............. .
