PS4/PS5/XOne/XSeries/PC Godfall

Also einfach nichtssagend.

Gibt aber anscheinend auch Gameplay?

PSLS: WITH THIS TEASER TRAILER FOR GODFALL, ARE WE LOOKING AT SOMETHING PRE-RENDERED OR IN-ENGINE?

KEITH LEE: This was rendered real-time in-engine.

:ugly:

PSLS: WHAT UNIQUE BENEFITS ARE YOU GETTING BY DEVELOPING GODFALL ON NEXT-GENERATION HARDWARE? WHY MAKE IT A PS5 EXCLUSIVE RATHER THAN A CROSS-GEN RELEASE WITH PS4?

KEITH LEE: The exceptionally powerful SSD on the PlayStation 5 offers a new level of detail for each individual object as well as seamless loading of our expansiveness world. Our combat is kinesthetic in nature, so the new controller’s “adaptive triggers” and haptic feedback will make moment-to-moment combat feel exhilarating and visceral.

OUR NEXT-GEN TITLE: GODFALL
Our next AAA title is a loot-driven action RPG with third-person real-time melee combat. It’s a Looter-Slasher played better together with friends.

Drawing upon brand-new high fantasy IP written by Hugo Nebula award winners, Godfall is developed in Unreal Engine 4 for exclusive release on PC and next-gen Consoles.

Don't take this as any sort of visual standard for PS5.

Believe me.

One thing we haven't gotten into just yet is how stunning Godfall looks. That in-engine tease has given us but a taste of what to expect from the PS5, already impressing with its dense and detailed environments, huge scale, dynamic lighting, and screen-filling particle effects. For Lee, however, it isn't the graphical prowess of this PS5 console exclusive – Godfall is also launching on PC, with 12-month exclusivity to the Epic Game Store – that we should be focused on, but rather other advancements being unlocked by the console's tech. "The exceptionally powerful SSD on the PlayStation 5 offers a new level of detail for each individual object as well as seamless loading of our expansive world. We're excited to see it in action and to experience what might be the first co-op game of the next generation. Given the success of titles like Destiny, Diablo 3, and The Division this past decade, it's clear that these types of loot-driven, community-focused, dynamic and evolving experiences are going to be at the heart of the ninth-generation of gaming. We'll get to see more of Godfall on PS5 in action later this year, and for now, we'll have to be content playing that gorgeous trailer on repeat as we count down the days.

Laaaangweilig...
