TEEDA aus dem PSU Forum - PS3forums.com schrieb:_ More than 60 % of the devs from the Stuios are present since the first GOW.
_They are " beta " testing the emotion given to players during the game.
Having to display screens at the same time. One featuring the actual gameplay sequence of the player. The other capturing his facial expressions and reactions which helps the dev to adjust the intensity and the quality of
each sequences.
_They won't certainly include sixaxis gameplay. They don't know how to integrate it in a clever way.
_ There is no co op planned for the game, there is only One and one Kratos.
100 % Kratos gameplay only. No online planned as well.
_After the technical prowess of the first 2 GOW games. GOW III is a really anticipated title. And after having played the demo. It is definitely far from the final product but it gives an Idea of what the game will look like. And it will look far better.
You can see real time reflection of Kratos armor and the quality of the texture is awesome ly detailed. And eveyrthing is animated perfectly.
Thanx to the PS3 you can see more details like individual mussles, probably real time damages, scares on kratos And even his sweat.
The work the Team Santa Monica has done on the facial expression is outstanding. You can see his rage his anger. During the cutscenes it's really spectacular.
_Everything in the game is in 3D even the far landscape. The game will still be linear but will integrate holywoodian camera angles and sequences and the game will feature dynamic elements in the backgrounds to give a sensation of chaos.
_100 % PS3 power : Native 1080p resolution + No loading time + Stable framerate = GOW III. There were no framedrops in the demo. Even with tons of ennemies of the screen.
GOW III engine is an evolution of GOW II engine suped up with the PS3 power to give an next gen rendering.
Santa Monica has collaborated with teams like Insomniac and Naughty Dog. to get some tips. The studios are really close together in terms of relationship.
_1080p , new graphic Engine. The power of the PS3 preflectly exploited.
This power couldn't only benefit to Kratos himself...Team Santa Monica promised more " erotic scenes ".
_All GOW games have always procured to gamers a sensation of power to the player. And GOW III will not be different.
Santa Monica have added more Throws, killing moves and combos. But Now you can count on contextual finishing moves depending on the environment surounding you.
_Gow III won't implement tons of new features like most of other series.
So it wont feature that lots of new weapons and other stuffs.
Santa Monica wanted to offer a restrein amount of arsenal ( a dozen ) but they want to include them efficiently and make them unique and stylish So that the player will be switching weapons regularly and instinctively during all the game and won't focus only on the Blade Of Chaos.
The Orb system and Magic powers will still be there.
_ Like Prince Of Persia, Kratos will probably have the ability to wallrun.
_GOW III is far far far from being finished, and the game is really ambitious.
The team haven't revealed much and won't spoil everything.
There still lots of things to discover. Like the massive battlefield sequences kept in secret by the devs with inspirations coming from D-Day.
That's right , the team will probably include a Massive War batle sequence with you leading your Army and titans against Zeus but that is just on the paper at the moment.
_The team knows where they are heading to. And want to create the same excitation that the first GOWs did. The 3 goals to achieve that are : a spectacular realisation , a flowless gameplay, And momorable scenes.
_ GOW III is a gift from the gods. the PS3 has its warrior which will prove that Playstation will have an amazing year 2009 and will make the PS3 owners proud of their console and why they bought it.

Last week, Sony said that Killzone 2 would usher in "an unprecedented year" of PlayStation 3 exclusives, including God of War III, MAG, and Heavy Rain. Now, though, Sony has clarified that statement. In a press release issued today, the company said that its numerous "groundbreaking exclusives," including MAG and God of War III, will arrive within the fiscal year, which doesn't conclude until March 2010.
