Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Is Coming To PC In Japan

Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends is coming to PC in Japan, Tecmo Koei announced earlier today. The PC version of the game will be available on May 23rd and will cost 7,800 yen. It will include Dynasty Warriors 8.

The PC version of the game will require Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8. Here are the minimum requirements, as reported by Inside Games:

CPU: Core2Duo 2.4GHz (Core i7 860 or higher recommended)
Memory: 512MB (1GB or more recommended)
Display: 640×480 px High Color (1280×720 px True Color recommended)
Hard Disk space: Approximately 18GB
Video: 256MB VRAM (512MB VRAM recommended) 3D accelerator chip w/ Pixel Shader 3.0
DirectX 9.0c or higher with latest drivers. Graphics card must support DX 90c, too.
Sound card: Sound card corresponding to DirectX 9.0c or higher
Gamepad: Supported

The PC version of the game will allow you to adjust settings such as the game’s draw distance, so that you can optimize framerate to your liking. Additionally, free DLC from Dynasty Warriors 8 and Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends on consoles will be included in the PC version of the game.

Siliconera reached out to Tecmo Koei to inquire about a western release, and community manager Chin Soon Sun replied, “For the Western release we have no comment so far. But when we have more information and confirmation, we will announce on our social channels, of course we would like all our fans around the world to enjoy our games so we’ll look into the opportunity!”

Eher nicht da da noch Xtreme legends dabei ist.

Ist schon nen Schlag ins Gesicht für Xbox360 Käufer, bin froh das ich nicht zugegriffen habe nachdem DW7 schon kein Xtreme Legends auf der 360 bekam. Aber eher nen PC Port zu bringen ist schon krass.

Werde also irgendwann DW8 erst auf der PS4 nachholen.

Mein Spiel für die Ps4 wurde heute versandt

Ich habe letzte Woche "Dynasty Warriors 8 - Xtreme Legends" digital erworben für die PS4 und wollt mal wissen ob einige von euch auch manchmal Performance Problem haben z.B. ruckeln oder das die Steuerung hängt.

Ansonsten ist es ja doch ganz hübsch geworden und macht auch wieder Spaß!

Hab bisher nur die erste Wei Mission gemacht und nichts immer flüssig. Läuft besser als auf der Ps3 aber ich hab zuwenig gespielt um das genau sagen zu können wegen Performance Problemen.

Das Problem mit der Steuerung hatte ich im bisher nur im co-op, die Ruckler hatte ich auch wenn ich allein spielte und dann sind auch noch Flamen von brennenden Gebäuden Sekunden weise verschwunden und wieder aufgepoppt.

Hoffentlich kommt da noch ein Patch.

Ist deine Platin eigentlich aus One Pice PW da fehlt mir leider immer noch ein paar münzen für die letzte Trophähe.

Ja hab genau 2 Platin beide in PW 1 und 2^^

Bei DW 8 werd ich keine Platin machen die hol ich nur wenn mich das Spiel wirklich umhaut und ich nicht mehr von wegkomme

Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends PC Version Announced For The West

The PC version of Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends is coming to the West, Tecmo Koei have announced. The game will be available on PC this May in both the U.S. and Europe.

As reported in the past, the PC version of Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends will require Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8 to play. You’ll be able to adjust settings such as distances, character model quality, texture quality and more.

In the screenshot above, you see an adjustable option called “Graphic Detail”. This actually refers to LOD or “level of detail,” which determines how complex an object looks, depending on how close to it you are. Finally, the last three options, in case you can’t make them out, are “Dynamic Shadows,” “Shaders” and “Post Effects”.

The two screenshots above this paragraph are from the Japanese version of the game, and illustrate the differences between low and high settings. You’ll notice that the first screenshot has fewer enemies on the screen, fewer details on each individual enemy, and a less detailed ground texture, among other changes.

The PC version will also contain free DLC from Dynasty Warriors 8 and Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends.

Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Problems Prompt Response From Tecmo Koei

Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends appears to be having problems on the PlayStation 4 and Vita, with each version suffering from different issues. The PS4 version of the game suffers from network connection problems, while the Vita version suffers from framerate issues.

In response, Tecmo Koei have asked players to provide them with feedback over Facebook, so that they can pinpoint the problem areas. Fans have already begun doing so, and you can make your own contribution on this page, if you’re playing the game.

The Japanese version of Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends was updated with multiple patches, and some of these fixes are already included in the American and European versions of the game, which is why Tecmo Koei say they need player feedback to help pinpoint the issue in each version.

“[Tecmo Koei Japan] had tested the game but couldn’t find the areas to fix, which is why we’re asking and seeking for your help,” a Tecmo Koei representative said to one Facebook user.

Another user suggested that perhaps the version 1.03 patch from Japan could fix the problems in the western versions of the game, but Tecmo Koei say that this isn’t the case either. “1.03 JP version patch is nothing to do with the Vita issues you had mentioned and the game versions are actually different for NA/EU to the JP version,” they wrote.

Vllt hol ichs mir fürn PC. Hab damals DW3 und 4 gezockt, aber die späteren Teile nicht wirklich angefasst.

Hatte sogar noch Teil 1, was spielerisch ja nichts mit dem zu tun hat, was DW jetzt ist und dann ab da 3,4,5,5 Extreme und Gundam 3, was spielerisch noch DW ist, aber eben anderes Universum.

Es ist aus Sicht der anderen eher sowas wie das Guilty Pleasure bei mir. Es passt für mich recht viel zusammen und macht Laune, Kann es meist mehrere hundert Stunden spielen. Egal welchen Teil.
