Der DSi wird ja bekanntermaßen auch einen Shop bieten.

Das hier ist der Thread dazu ;)

Was ich mich Frage: Wird es dann auch eine "Virtual Console" für Handheld-Klassiker geben (wäre auch ein Grund, den GBA Slot zu entfernen, denn wer kauft sonst GBA Software?!)?

Super Mario Land I - III und die Turtles-Konami Teile und ich kaufe mir den DSi drei mal mit Soße oben drauf!!!

Das wäre für mich einer der schlagkräftigsten Kaufgründe! GameBoy Games FTW!!

Jap,ist bestätigt,nur was es genau für Spiele sein werden eben nicht^^

Allein muss der neue Ds her wegen HB,Internet,Camera usw. Lohnt sich absolut^^
 
Das alles ist sooo cool.
Ich habe mir zB oft gedacht:
Die können eigentlich nie Pokemon Stadium auf die VC bringen, weil man ja keine verbindung zwischen Stadium und Rot/blau/gelb aufbauen kann.

Jetzt können sie das zB endlich realisieren.
Man könnte wie früher, die Heimkonsolen mit den Handhelden verbinden.

Jetzt können sie tatsächlich alles wieder aufleben lassen.
Nicht nur die Nintendo-Heimkonsolen-Spiele. Alle Spiele von Nintendo.
Endlich alle Gameboyspiele.
Das würde auch den GBA-Slot 100Mal ersetzen, weil man dann sowieso alle GBA herunterladen kann.


Zumindest hoffe ich für Nintendo, dass sie klug genug waren, dass sie eine Handheld-VC für den DS kreieren.
 
Nintendo: "DSi software is region locked"

DSi-only software locked, universal DS software isn't, Nintendo confirms

Nintendo has issued a statement to CVG to clarify the confusion over the region-based restrictions on the new DSi.

"DSi software (software that is only compatible with DSi) is region locked, eg: European DSi software can only be played on European DSi consoles," a Nintendo spokesperson has told CVG.

They confirmed that this means BOTH download-able games and future DSi-only cartridge-based games would be region locked.

"Nintendo DS software however is region free so you can play any DS software on DSi from any region. You can also browse the Internet on your DSi wherever you are in the world and exchange your photos with friends from around the world."

This follows a statement from NOA exec VP Cammie Dunanway saying: "I believe that just as you can currently buy a DS in Japan and use it here in the U.S., that you should be able to do that with DSi," as we reported this morning.

Nintendo went on to explain to CVG: "DSi is region locked because DSi embeds net communication functionality within itself and we are intending to provide net services specifically tailored for each region. Also because we are including parental control functionality for Nintendo DSi and each region has its unique age limit made by different independent."

So there you go - DSi-only titles will be locked. Standard DS software won't be. But how many of the DS' future games will be DSi-only? That's the next question...

möp, ich glaube das war es mit dem japanimport für einige. oder man geht davon aus, dass die guten spiele in japan rauskommen und holt sich doch einen japanischen DSi
