Could Activision make a Guitar Hero grip for the DSi?


We have seen the Guitar Hero On Tour series have great success on the DS. That might be why Activision is pumping them out so quickly. Well that, and the impending release of the DSi. The DSi doesn’t feature a GBA slot, which therefore renders the GBA guitar grip completely useless. Does that mean that the DSi is the end of Guitar Hero portable titles?

Well, that’s not necessarily the case. Activision does have a few options they could work with. Some people seem to think that the SD card slot could be used in some sort of way, but I’m not too sure about that. Much more plausible is the idea of a wireless grip that communicates with the DSi.

You can be sure about one thing. If Activision wants to continue the On Tour series, they will find a way to make it work on the DSi.

The DS was the number 1 selling platform in Japan for 2008. It also saw its worst year in sales numbers.

Will Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars cause an issue with parents?


“The DS is a console that doesn’t exclusively cater for children and families even though it provides a wealth of suitable entertainment for them. Nobody in the industry would like to see retail confused enough to put this into the hands of under 18s and therefore it being prominently labeled is a good thing. This is not a game for children and parents have over the past few years started to pay more attention to the age ratings on packaging. Grand Theft Auto games always cause a big stir from the community, but with a new entry hitting the DS exclusively, we may very well see a ton of angry parents. A large majority of parents don’t see the DS as a gaming platform that caters to the masses, but instead, they see the system that their children carry along with them. It’s those parents that will think that GTA is coming to the DS solely to poison the minds of children.

Die Simulation von Spike erschien bereits am 20.10.2005 in Japan und soll nun endlich am 26.03.2009 auch in Europa erscheinen. Für angehende Ärtze und solche die es mal probieren wollen ein Grund zu zugreifen ! ;)

Chinatown Wars to feature over 160 minutes of cut scenes

BBFC recently rated Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for the DS. The game was given an “18″ rating to no surprise. There was one notable tidbit that was included alongside the rating though - The game will include 168 minutes of cut scenes. Rockstar Leeds certainly wasn’t lying when it was said that Chinatown Wars is huge.
