Many fans expected Dragon Ball Xenoverse DLC Pack 2 to be released today, however, it seems like that might not be the case. The Japanese branch of Bandai Namco has announced players will be able to obtain DLC Pack 2 beginning April 8 in Japan. No release date has been announced for any of the other regions, but unless we receive a surprise, we expect it will be around the same timeframe. As soon we know the release date for the Western countries, Saiyan Island hopes to let you know!
According to an announcement by Bandai Namco last week, DLC Pack 2 in North America and Europe will contain the following:
4 playable characters – Towa, Mira, Eis Shenron, and Nuova Shenron
3 Time Patrol Quests (story mode)
3 Parallel Quests
Pan GT as a Master and her 5 Master quests
5 full costumes from Pan, Gogeta, Super 17, Mira and Towa.
24 signature moves from Pan, Mira, Towa, Eis Shenron and Nuova Shenron
6 new Z-Souls:
- Eis Shenron’s Z soul – I’m doing fine.
- Nuova Shenron’s Z soul – That’s how I fight!
- Pan’s Z soul (Master) 1 – This is my best move!
- Pan’s Z soul (Master) 2 – Dumped agaaaain!

Dragon Ball Xenoverse has been out for almost two months in Japan and over a month in the rest of the world. In preparation for DLC Pack 2, Bandai Namco Japan has announced maintenance will be performed on April 7 between 3 PM and 9 PM Japanese Standard Time (JST).
Upon completion of the maintenance period, issues found in parallel quests, battles, and the system will also be fixed. Specifics will be announced at a later time. Bandai Namco Japan did mention, to our delight, the max level custom created characters can be leveled up to will increase to 85! Assuming 3 points per level, that means players will have an additional 15 attribute points to assign to their character. Joy!
Just to be clear, this has been announced by the Japanese branch of Bandai Namco. The American and European branches have not yet announced anything in regards to this maintenance as of this posting. The American and European branches have announced the contents of DLC Pack 2, but they have not yet mentioned a release date either. If this turns out to be global maintenance that would mean European players may experience online connectivity issues on April 7 between 8 AM and 2 PM Central European Time (CET) and American players on April 6th between 11 PM and 5 PM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). Saiyan Island hopes to keep you up-to-date as soon as the official word is out!
Bandai Namco Entertainment America has announced today Dragon Ball Xenoverse DLC Pack 2 will be released on Tuesday, April 14 on Steam/PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3. This is about a week after the release of the same pack in Japan. We speculate the difference in release between the two regions is likely due to localization in English. A date has not been announced for Europe, the Middle East, or Australasia at this time, but if history is any indication then it will likely be released on the same day as the American version for Xbox consoles and PC and the 15th for PlayStation platforms.
