hört sich für mich nach einen Film ala Do you remember Love an - könnte was werden, zumindest wenn es kein kompletter Recap wird, alle Szenen neu gezeichnet werden etc. - quasi so wie bei DYRL - freue micha uf die Szenen, die es nicht in den Anime geschafft haben

war bei Macross und Do You Remember Love genauso -> ein Jahr nachdem Macross zu Ende war, gab es ein Remake im Form eines Filmes

ganz ehrlich: sowas im Stil von DYRL würde ich persönlich viel besser finden, da ein Film viel zu wenig Zeit für eine gute Fortsetzung bietet und vermutlich noch viel viel mehr fragen auffallen würden - vor allem da es immer neue Macross Serien geben wird

Kyoto Animation's Munto to Get New TV Anime
The December issue (on sale on November 10) of Kadokawa Shoten's Newtype magazine will announce that Kyoto Animation's Munto video anime series will be remade as the Sora o Miageru Shōjo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai (The World Reflected in the Eyes of a Girl Looking Up at the Heavens) television anime series. The original fantasy anime centered on a seemingly ordinary girl named Yumemi who can see a magical world in the skies above our world, and the king named Munto who must find Yumemi to save his own world.

The official website of the Munto franchise already indicated that there will be information about a new Munto work on November 10. Kyoto Animation produced two video volumes of Munto in 2003 and 2005. Central Park Media released the first video volume of Munto in North America in 2004.

Yay, ich freu mich.
Zwar hab ich die OVAs nicht gesehen, aber es dürfte interessant werden, wenn KyoAni endlich mal eine völlig eigene Serie macht. Zwar hätte ich lieber eine Ankündigung für Little Busters gehabt, aber die kommt halt ein ander Mal.

Kann durchaus sein, dass sie wirklich keine Lust haben, an Haruhi zu arbeiten, aber ich tippe eher auf rechtliche Probleme mit Kadokawa. Vllt. hat es auch was mit den Finanzen zu tun, ihr nächstes Projekt Munto TV ist ja eine Eigenproduktion, was bedeutet, dass sie den Gewinn komplett selbst einstecken können, da sie keine Gelder an den Lizenzgeber abführen müssen. Vllt das Taschengeld für Haruhi

Ähnliches habe ich auch schon vermutet, oder vielmehr befürchtet. Lizenzquerelen würden nur allzu gut zum Ablauf passen: Angekündigt, verworfen - neu angesetzt - auf weiteres gecancelt (?) ohne ein Wort dazu zu verlieren...

Kann sein. Ich konnte bisher nur die Saya-Route durchspielen auf Grund mangelnder Japanisch-Kenntnisse (und afaik ist das ja wieder ein anderer Autor, der ihre Route verfasst hat).

Allerdings habe ich gehört, Kudo's Ecstasy Route und der Refrain sollen ein Cry-Fest sein.

Haruhi interessiert mich momentan hauptsächlich weniger als Munto, weil ich die Novels schon gelesen habe und besser als den Anime finde.

Minami-ke 3 kommt uns im Januar 09 beehren und wird wohl nicht den imo hässlichen Okawari-Look beibehalten.

Yesss! Zwar immernoch bei Aslead, aber zumindest wird das Auge nicht mehr zwangsmissbraucht bzw stellt sich dann hoffentlich wieder zumindest optisch gewohnte Staffel eins Minami-ke Athmosphäre ein!^^

Mann, die werden wirklich von Anime zu Anime dümmer... das erstaunliche ist einfach das wirklich eine Steigerung der Dummheit stattfindet.
Schon ne Schande wie man diesen Trottlen auch weiterhin erlauben kann einen Anime nach dem anderen zu versauen und Animes hier zu sabotieren.

Ansonsten Tengen Topper Harley Gurren Lagann kommt 2009 nach Deutschland? 8)

ganz ehrlich: bei Blue Dragon finde ich persönlich es absolut nicht schade, dass der Anime abgesetzt wurde - imho eine sehr schlechte Verfilmung vom Spiel

eher abgehobener gourmand, der sich die zunge verbrüht hat und daher nicht mehr richtig zu wählen vermag. die drei genannten anime fallen da in die kategorie der ausnahmen, die die regel bestätigen ;-)

Dezaki's The Tale of Genji Anime to Debut in January

Anime will be direct retelling of original novel, not of Asakiyumemishi manga

The famed anime director Osamu Dezaki (Ashita no Joe, Aim For The Ace!, Lupin III movies) will debut his Genji Monogatari Sen-nen-ki Genji (The Tale of Genji: A Millennium-Old Journal: Genji) television anime version of a classic Japanese novel in January. The project originally began as an anime adaptation of Asakiyumemishi - The Tale of Genji, Waki Yamato's historical shōjo manga retelling of the same novel about a motherless prince and his descendants. However, Dezaki decided that he wanted to bypass the manga version and write and direct a more direct interpretation of the original novel itself. The anime will celebrate the thousand-year anniversary of the original novel, although the exact date of its writing is unknown.

Tomoko Konparu (NANA, Nodame Cantabile) will supervise the scripts, and Jirou Kouno (Hi no Tori, Black Jack The Movie) will provide art direction. Dezaki's longtime collaborator Akio Sugino (Ashita no Joe, Aim For The Ace!) will design the characters and oversee the animation, while Seiji Suzuki (Rose of Versailles, Clannad movie) will direct the music. Dezaki's new anime series will be the latest of many manga and anime adaptations of The Tale of Genji.

Jup, hab den Anime zwar nicht gesehen, nur die ersten drei Folgen auf RLT2 aber das war im Vergleich zum Spiel schon verdammt grottig.
Die Schatten sprechen = scheiße, die Schatten haben verschiedene Farben = scheiße, Giro ist im Anime voll der Trottel, Shu kam total nervig rüber etc.

Hat ausser den Charakteren nix mit dem Spiel zu tun.

Ausserdem muss Shu von Anja Topf gesprochen werden, anders geht es ja mal garnicht!

Ist aber trotzdem Grütze dass der Anime abgesetzt wurde. Hoffentlich aus einem Grund der uns zugute kommt.
Ansonsten ist RTL2 bestimmt schon auf der Jagd nach Inazuma Eleven.

Die Frage ist nur, wer setzt endlich RTL 2 ab? :-D

Aber ehrlich, der Sender darf von mir aus alles ins Programm nehmen und absetzen, was er will. Juckt mich nicht.
Die Zeiten, als ich Animes größtenteils im Deutschen Fernsehen gesehen habe sind schon lange vorbei. Wäre auch gar nicht mehr möglich, heute läuft ja nur noch Gülle. Vorbei die Zeiten, als ich meinen VHS-Recorder auf die Sendezeit von Ranma 1/2 (die ersten Folgen fand und finde ich nach wie vor genial), Vision of Escaflowne oder später Inu Yasha auf MTV einprogrammiert habe. Oder mir nächte auf VOX um die Ohren gehauen habe (deren Animenächte aber zu 50% Hentainächte waren...erklärt vielleicht meinen verkorksten Charakter )

Gonzo to Reduce Annual Anime Output from 8 to 4

Announced 2009 titles include Druaga sequel, Arad Senki, Shangri-La, Alive

GDH, the corporate parent of the Gonzo anime company, has announced that it will be restructuring, and therefore reducing its annual output of anime from about eight projects to four in the next fiscal year. The decision was made during the board of directors' meeting that was held on Monday. The company currently produces anime through its four internal studios and outsourcing to other companies. It plans to combine its internal studios under one division and "carefully" winnow its output from eight to four titles.

GDH did not specify which titles will still go forward in production. Gonzo had already announced that it would be working on The Tower of DRUAGA -the Sword of URUK-, Slap Up Party -Arad Senki-, Shangri-La, and Alive - Saishū Shinka teki Shōnen in 2009. It is also producing the Afro Samurai: Resurrection television movie, but that is scheduled to run in the United States next January, before the next fiscal year. Earlier in 2008, Gonzo produced Rosario + Vampire, S.A, Blassreiter, The Tower of Druaga: the Aegis of Uruk, and Strike Witches. It is also producing the ongoing television series Linebarrels of Iron and Rosario + Vampire Capu2.

Besides its reduction in anime output, GDH plans to reduce its representative director's compensation by half, its board of directors' head count by two (or 30%), and its executive and managerial staff's head count by eight (or 10 to 20%). By consolidating its operations, it plans to save 40 to 120 million yen (about US$400,000 to US$1.2 million) in rent, 40 to 50 million yen (US$400,000 to US$500,000) in system costs, and 50 to 100 million yen (US$500,000 to US$1 million) in possible managerial expenses.

The Japanese investment company Iwakaze Capital had taken over GDH by acquiring more shares in GDH earlier this fall. At the time, CEO Shinichiro Ishikawa, director/chief financial officer Fumiaki Goto, and executive vice president/chief operating officer Yasushi Uchida left the company.

2 Anime Films Submitted for Possible Oscar Nominations

The Sky Crawlers, Sword of the Stranger vie with 12 other films for 3 slots

Two anime films, Mamoru Oshii and Production I.G's The Sky Crawlers and Masahiro Ando and BONES' Sword of the Stranger, are among the 14 films submitted this year for the three possible nomination slots in the Best Animated Feature category of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Oscars awards. The two films are competing with Bolt, Delgo, Dragon Hunters, Fly Me to the Moon, Igor, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, $9.99, The Tale of Despereaux, Waltz With Bashir, WALL-E, and Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who! The academy allows up to three nominations in this category if more than eight films are submitted; had there been 16 or more films submitted, the academy would have allowed up to five nominations. The academy will announce the Oscar nominations on January 22.

Sony Pictures acquired the rights to release The Sky Crawlers military romance film (pictured at right) in the United States, Canada, Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand. Bandai Entertainment gave the Sword of the Stranger samurai action film (pictured at left) a limited Los Angeles and New York City run in July, which qualified the film for possible Oscar consideration. The only Japanese film to win the Best Animated Feature Oscar in the category's seven-year history was Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli's Spirited Away in 2002.

Self-professed "big fan of anime" says final Akira script draft is being written

Movie star and producer Leonardo DiCaprio (Titanic, The Assassination of Richard Nixon, The Aviator) told MTV's Splash Page that his Appian Way production company is waiting for the final script draft for the live-action film version of Katsuhiro Otomo's Akira manga. He added, "I'm a big fan of Japanese anime — that and another project called Ninja Scroll we're trying to get developed and made into a movie, and I know there a lot of loyal fans out there of the project and die-hard fans, so we're going to try to do the best job we possibly can and we're not going to make the movie until the script is in the right shape." He also emphasized that he is producing in these two projects, and that he does "not really" have any interest in acting in them.

The Variety entertainment news source reported in February that Warner Brothers and Appian Way had re-licensed the rights to remake Akira from the manga publisher Kodansha. The two companies originally planned to make two films, each of which would cover three volumes of the renowned science-fiction manga about a governmental genetic project and a teenager's attempt to save a fellow biker gang member. Otomo himself directed a popular 1988 anime film based on his own manga. Variety also reported last month that Warner Brothers and Appian Way had licensed the rights to adapt Yoshiaki Kawajiri's Ninja Scroll action anime film from the Madhouse anime studio.

finde ich sehr gut, vielleicht gibt es pro Season dann mehr als nur 1-2 gute Gonzo Anime (wobei mir in dieser Season kein Gonzo Anime einfällt, der über "gut" hinausgeht, geschweige denn diesen Status erreicht hat)


auf solche Perlen wie Rosario + Vampire etc. kann ich gut verzichten - vor allem da die Animeversionen zigmal schlechter als die Mangaversionen sind
