Europa-Termin zu BlazBlue: Chronophantasma Extend

Nun ging alles ganz fix.

BlazBlue: Central Fiction Will Have Triple The Story Volume Of Chrono Phantasma

Arc System Works will release BlazBlue Central Fiction sometime next month, and they’ve provided a look at some of the new features that we’ll get to see when it launches on arcade.

BlazBlue Central Fiction retains most of the main features seen throughout the series, but they’ve added tweaks and enhancements to make them better.

There’s the “Arcade Mode” that lets you play against the CPU while going through the story, “Score Attack Mode” for online rankings, and “Sparring Mode” that lets you practice against the CPUs to brush up on your skills.

Sparring Mode lets you set a series of matches for a set period of time and difficulty to your liking. In Central Fiction they’re adding additional options to let you adjust the CPU level and the meters.

As for the main “Arcade Mode,” there will be new characters and the latest story in the BlazBlue series. Additionally, it’s split into three “Acts” that we’ll see added through updates. They also mention that the story will have three times the entire volume we saw in BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma

Act 1 of the story will be available at launch and the others will be added via updates. They also mention that the truth behind “the dream that God observes” will be revealed.

Finally, the above is a look at how you can get “Platinum Coins” by beating people in Versus mode. There’s a variety of challenges that are required to get these coins, such as “do a combo that uses all the button types,” or “defeat an opponent that is currently in a 30-game winning streak.”

You can then exchange the Platinum Coins to “P$ (Platinum Dollars),” with rare Platinum Coins giving you more P$.

BlazBlue: Central Fiction is expected to launch on arcade in Japan sometime in the second half of November.

Update 7:45 a.m.: A few new details have surfaced. BlazBlue: Central Fiction is due out for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in Japan this fall.

There are various modes unique to the home console version, including:

- Speed Star Mode – The built-in mode from the arcade version. Compete for the highest number of enemies defeated within the time limit.
- Training Mode.
- Score Attack Mode – Compete for the high score by clearing 10 high difficulty battles.
- Network Battle Mode.

The Arcade Mode featuring short stories for each characters will be there in addition to a home console-original Story Mode featuring a grand-scale story.

As mentioned before the update, Es from Xblaze will be a playable character. She is a hearty fighter that wields a large sword.

Here are some tidbits from the interview with producer Toshimichi Mori:

- We’re drawing the line regarding the story with this game. The story of protagonist Ragna will reach a single conclusion.
- The volume is about 1.3 times the previous game. Everything is newly written. The play time should amount to dozens of hours.
- You might get a bit of a different impression of Es compared to her in Xblaze.
- The popular Abyss Mode is being developed with specialty staff in order to further enhance it.
- Network Mode

First look at BlazBlue: Central Fiction for PS4, PS3

Famitsu has gone up with its online preview of BlazBlue: Central Fiction for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, providing the first direct-feed screenshots of the console version.

As announced earlier this week, the console version of the arcade fighting game has various modes unique to the home platform, including both familiar modes introduced in previous entries and original new modes. Showcased in the screenshots include Arcade Mode, V.S. Mode, Grim of Abyss Mode, Score Attack Mode, and Speed Star Mode.

In Story Mode, you can enjoy the game’s story via an adventure game format. The latest game offers a newly written story spanning dozens of hours and depicts the final chapter of the “Story of the Azure” starring protagonist Ragna that has been developing since 2008.

Es, from the Xblaze series, also makes her appearance as a playable character. Voiced by Mayuka Nomura, she is described as the mysterious girl who appeared before Xblaze protagonist Toya Kagari. She has a lovely appearance, but on the contrary has high combat ability. She has no interest other than her given mission and doesn’t speak of herself. Unexpectedly, she loves pudding.

Release: 04.11.16 (Europa)
