He says he plays things for competitive analysis, but that the PS3 has enough for him. He mentions that he's been playing the next LocoRoco game, then he turns to a new PlayStation 3 downloadable game called Super Rub-O-Dub. It's the duck demo from E3 turned into an entire game. You play with the Sixaxis and tilt a pool of water to make a big duck move around, picking up little ducks and moving them to an exit. It will be out in the next few weeks.

Wie unsere Kollegen von GameFront berichten hat Hiromichi Tanaka von Square Enix bestätigt das man daran arbeitet das MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) für die Xbox 360 zu entwickeln. Dieses Spiel soll auch für Windows Vista erscheinen. Ob es auch für die Sony PS3 erscheint ist fraglich wurde aber von Hiromichi Tanaka nicht ausgeschlossen.


Und ja es scheint sich um den Nachfolger v. FFXI zu handeln !!

nur leider ist FFXI auf der 360 schon gefloppt, wieso jetzt ein nachfolger? oder hat jetzt Mistwalker genug von der 360 und MS braucht wieder ersatz?

PS: FFXI ist 5 Jahre alt was stellst du dir vor.. das es sich plötzlich bombig verkauft .. wo es das doch schon seit Jahren auf Ps2 und PC gibt.. tze.

Oh my god, why won't sony shut up? They would be a little more respected if they did that. THe PS2 had 500,000 consoles for launch and the PS3 only had less than 300,000. How is that successful? Just because you sold out doesn't mean you did a good job. And how can he say that the PS3 has enough for him. Is there a good RPG on that thing? What about a good sports game besides NBA 2k7? You know he is playing gears of war.

Da gibts doch schon so ein Final Fantasy MMORPG auf der 360, oder? Das ist doch auch nicht gerade der Hit gewesen ...?
Naja - für die Verkaufszahlen wäre ein "Normales" Final Fantasy sicherlich um Einiges besser gewesen - deswegen kann ich das sowieso nicht so ganz nachvollziehen. Da ich seit jeher übrigens sowieso nichts von Final Fantasy halte, ist die News für mich nicht mehr als ein Pfurz im Wind

Loco Roco für die PS3? :hmm2:

Da gehe ich mal fest davon aus - schließlich würde sich der Sixaxis für so ein Spiel geradezu anbieten. Wipeout und Loco Roco werden sicherlich Spiele, die sich exzellent mit dem Tilt Controller steuern lassen.

Sony Pictures making Metal Gear movie!!!

At the Electronic Entertainment Expo last year, Konami revealed that work had begun on a live-action movie based on Metal Gear Solid. The news broke via a pamphlet for Studio Kojima, the Konami-owned development house headed up by Metal Gear series creator Hideo Kojima.

"I have received many offers to adapt Metal Gear Solid. It has taken a long time, but we have finally settled on an arrangement," Kojima said in a statement. "False facts aside, a movie project is underway. I have finalized a Class-A contract with a party in Hollywood."

For eight months, the identity of the aforementioned "party" was unknown. That changed this week, when Sony Pictures Entertainment vice chairman Yair Landau revealed his studio is developing the project.

"We're working with the Metal Gear guys," Landau told GameSpot following his D.I.C.E. Summit keynote in Las Vegas. "It's a very cinematic game, it really lends itself to movie-telling. But the question is, 'How do you translate Snake's experience into a full arc that conforms to what audiences expect on the large screen?'"

Landau also hinted the Metal Gear Solid movie may just be the beginning. "There are other games we are looking to develop," the executive said. "We're working with one of my favorite producers right now on an idea for an EverQuest movie." The producer was apparently of such stature that Landau declined to name him. "I'll let him disclose that," he said cryptically.

Besides the forthcoming World of Warcraft film, currently in development at Warner Bros., the Metal Gear Solid movie is the highest-profile game-film project in Hollywood. Previously, that that stature was held by the Peter-Jackson-produced Halo adaptation, which imploded last year.
