Hehe die Bilder der Slim Version sind ja schon länger im Netz zu sehen. Ich persönlich finde sie grottenhässlich... dieses "Nicht-Klavierlack" sondern "Matt" schwarz.... schrecklich. Das sieht so dermaßen billig aus...

Wärend ein beleuchtetes PS-Zeichen schon was hat ^^

Naja ich denke zur Tokyo Game Show 2009 wird das Geheimnis gelüftet. Zur GC in Köln wohl eher nicht Wobei´s schade ist, da bin ich nämlich auch *g*

Also neues von der Slim Front ein Typ hat sich vorher auf den Weg gemacht um das Ding zu kaufen, war aber anscheinend nicht erlfolgreich das Sie schon verkauft war! Leider ist mein Filipino äusserst bescheiden habs mal durch so nen billigen online übersetzer gejagt! Anscheinend haben Sie das Ding aber irgendwo getestet und es funktioniert?!

We asked the staff at the shop of Bombay if you really have occurred testing the PS3 slim kanina & they did confirm that meron nga & sakto both stories the seller to Street fighter 4 yung Pinang test ... asked by doy when they try PS2 games hindi daw ... & its 120GB nga daw

Basically they (PPS guys) were ready to purchase it but someone already had purchased it and probably planning to sell it for even more, and the sellers said they tested the unit using SF4 PS3 game disk and it ran, it didn't run any PS2 disks (don't know about this maybe they are using bootlegged PS2 game disks, its common here) and it has 120GB.

Take note, none of the PPS members here have seen it running

scheint wohl echt zu sein, wenn man das glauben mag. Finde sie eigentlich nicht schlecht, da sie nicht mehr 5KG wiegt und die PS3 auch mal mitnehmen kann. So ein geiles gerät muss man einfach mal all seinen Freunden präsentieren. Sieht zwar nicht mehr ganz so edel aus, aber die innere Edelchips sind ja noch vorhanden. danke neuester Techniken wurden sie nochmal veredel Da muss man einfach zuschlagen, wenn sie rauskommt. Hoffe mal auf einen Kampfpreis von 250€-299€ und all den zahlreichen features die eine PS3 mit sich bringt. Wohl die beste konsole aller zeit, dann für einen sehr günstigen Preis. imo wäre es dann schon fast ne Verramschung...

Let's sum up what we know from the PS3 slim based from Rayant's visit at the store:

1) The PS3 slim came with all the cables and 1 DS controller but without a box
2) The PS3 was bought for 12k pesos by the vendor from his source (roughly 250 USD to 270 USD)
3) The PS3 slim was tested using SF4, both the vendor and the people of the indian (the one who bought it) has the same story, tested the PS3 slim with SF4.
4) The PS3 slim can't play PS2 games.
5) The PS3 slim has 120gb of HDD, same size as the leaked photos from months ago
6) The most important part: The underground market vendor got the PS3 slim from his source who just came from the US, thus, we can assume that the PS3 slim came from the US and not from Taiwan(rumored manufacturer is here)

Jup.

Auf der deutschen Spielemesse könnte die Ankündigung der PSN-Karten kommen. Schließlich wird die PSP Go einige Monate später offiziell im Handel erscheinen. Zusätzlich wird die PS3 Slim angekündigt. Ich halte eine Ankündigung auf der GamesCom wahrscheinlicher als auf der TGS. Rein vom Gefühl her ...

Okay... just got home. So fvkcing exhausted.

So... here it goes...

I'm not saying there wasn't one in Greenhills. It's possible for it to resurface this week in that store owned by that indian guy who last bought it.

We went to the original store where the slim PS3 was displayed and talked to the guy whom I think owns the stall (he's the same guy in the video).

Here are the things he said:
* unit was bought from some dude who got the unit from the US.
* there are two units but only one unit was for sale (the one he got).
* it was sold to him because it cannot be modded (LOL).
* they tested a PS3 game (Unreal Tournament III) and it worked.
* they tested an unknown (not bootlegged) PS2 game from an unknown region, the PS3 detected the disc, it didn't work. SUCKS!
* hard drive slot is underneath when placed horizontally.
* slim PS3 cannot be placed vertically without some sort of a stand unlike the fat one.
* he got it for 12K PhP.
* there was some sort of packaging but it's not a retail box.
* it came with the necessary cables and a DS3.
* he sold the unit to an indian fellow who has a game store in Bridgeway for 22K PhP.
* he said the indian dude was planning on creating a customized box for it (I guess for it to look like something that is being sold in retail).
* slim PS3 is almost the same size as the fat PS2.
* he's unaware of the firmware installed.
* it's possible for him to get another unit next month.
* when asked about any contact information of the dude that sold the unit to him, he declined giving it.

Okay... I don't believe everything he said but I've got a gut feeling the slim PS3 that he got is real. It's possible he's only covering his tracks.

Then we went to the store of that indian guy but he's nowhere to be found. The slim PS3 is nowhere to be found as well. But I did talk to one of his employees.

* she confirmed her boss got one yesterday.
* it's not in the store.

The employee was hesitant in answering my questions. I don't know why. LOL

Anyway, it's up to you guys if you want to believe the rumor. Sorry for making you guys expect some good news. BTW, the place where the slim PS3 was sold... there were no game console knock offs on sight. I mean even the other stores don't sell knock offs. Some stores are even selling fat PS3s and Xbox 360s. But most of the stores are selling PSPs and mobile phones. We tried checking the other stores for the slim but to no avail.

I'm starting to hate that indian guy for buying the slim PS3 and for not showing the world that it works.

naja man merkt sofort das sie nicht zum vertikalen aufstellen gedacht ist... wahrscheinlich kann man nichtmal das PS zeichen vorne drehen...

OMG...bei der technik wird es noch einwenig dauern bis die wirklich kleiner sind. 40nm ist noch nicht vollkommen ausgereift. Dann würde sie wahrscheinlich noch nen stück kleiner werden können. Denke auch das es etwas mit der wärme zu tun hat und Sony kein RoD produzierende Konsole rausbringen möchte.
Imo finde ich sie schon slim und ne gutes stück kleiner. Sie ist ja auch nicht mehr so hoch. Ne Wii größe wird man wohl frühstens erst nächte gen erreichen können, bei gleicher hardware.
