Unreal Engine 3 - gibt es doch ein Happy End?

Im Grunde ist es schon länger bekannt, dass Epic an einer für die Wii-Konsole angepassten Unreal Engine 3 arbeitet. Wie das Ganze aussehen mag, könnten wir vielleicht mit dem kommenden Horror-Spiel vom No More Heroes Entwickler Grasshopper in Erfahrung bringen. Diese haben sich jetzt nämlich die besagte Engine für das neue Spiel lizenzieren lassen, das neben Wii auch für PC, PS3 und Xbox 360 erscheinen wird. Bislang müssen wir noch auf erste Details zu dem Spiel verzichten. Dass eine solche Engine nicht undenkbar ist, zeigt Call of Duty: World at War, das die üppige Call of Duty 4-Engine sogar auf Nintendos Heimkonsole nutzt.

Nintendo gibt bekannt, dass der Wii Speak-Kanal und das Wii Speak-Zubehör am 05.12.08 in Europa veröffentlicht werden.

At a recent Activision Event, we were able to stir up some information about the upcoming Quantum of Solace video game for Wii.

- CoD4 engine confirmed
- same story as PS3/360 versions
- 4 player online reconfirmed
- local 4-player split-screen
- Modes: Man with the Golden Gun, Team Conflict, Team, and more

Marvelous reveal No More Heroes 2

As part of the greatness of TGS, Marvelous have released a teaser trailer for No More Heroes 2. The trailer can be viewed here on Gametrailers. Regretfully, the trailer shows no gameplay of the new title, but is does at least confirm that Travis Touchdown is back for another battle.

The trailer also does not show any console logo at the end either, but we’d be willing to bet it is coming to the Wii again. You can hit us if it does not happen. Thankfully, a Grasshopper logo is shown, which is good news, as it means the genius’ there will be working on the game once again.

It seems the game will be called No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle.
