Crytek reveals Warface

Crytek have revealed a new project in the East, possibly South Korea, called 'Warface'.

Little is known about this the game at the moment, but GNN has this story on it along with some screens.

We believe the language is Korean, but we don't really know - if anyone has any info on that and/or can provide a translation, cheers.

Crytek’s Warface gets first video, is “major stepping stone”

The first gameplay footage of free-to-play Crytek FPS Warface has emerged, while Crytek MD Avni Yerli has said the Asian game represents a “major stepping stone” for the studio

As reported by GI, Crytek said today that the upcoming game will be operated in China exclusively by Tencent, a large operator in the region

“The development of our first free-to-play online project marks another major stepping stone for our studio,” said Yerli.

“We are excited to have the opportunity to partner with Tencent who are recognised as the largest online game community in China and a world-class online game developer and operator. We believe this game will make a glorious achievement in the Asian markets.”

There’s no date on it yet, and no news of a western release at all

Wat??? Tencent ist eigentlich nen Hersteller für das chinesische ICQ namens QQ und einige Minigames...

Hab mich eigentlich gefreut, aber nun lese ich das es Geld kosten soll??? War doch mal F2P...

Würde mich aber schon trotzdem sehr drauf freuen, das hat ja richtig viele (reale) Waffen, was ich sau cool finde.
